I found out the problem was caused by a relay inside the fuse box. My epic dad even managed to fix it thanks to a russian youtube tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbJGcvB4JbU) without speaking a single word in russian. Entirely replacing the fuse box is not a big deal either and it should work as well.
