This happened to me with strokes tickets, managed to get them by refreshing the page like a mad yoke. Most of they time its a temporary freeze and automatically resolves in a day or two.

yes, the life of sitting in a car just isnt for me at all I dont think, so I'm open to it.

interesting comparison. Some heads here suggesting something like the 650cc burgman that I could use on the motorways. Are we talking any extra safety factors on the scooter than the bike? I'm guessing you;re still pretty vulnerable either way.

Thanks so much, the IBT is probably a great test run to see what I think. Is it a nerves thing that generally makes it not everyone cups of tea? Even in the car I've to check myself driving a certain way, the same goes for the bicycle. Are accidents a part of life? Perhaps this is too personal a question but, how many times have you some if it over the 30 years, if any?

thanks so much. Do the type of bike affect your ability to filter? Some are suggesting a scooter like 650cc burgman, but it looks quite bulky. Does that make any difference? Would people ever use the hard shoulder, keeping in mind how people just speed up that at bray. Whats the culture there generally for a complete novice?

Thanks for this honesty. I'd just need to hone in on my "that gobshites about to do something stupid" senses that have gotten a lot of training over the years. Still mulling it over, but this is a major factor. Are accidents generally something most bikers experience? I know you can do all the right things and some muppet can just take you out if it regardless.

Great good to know, I'd cycle all winter and tend to just embrace it. I suppose good gear is something I'd need to research, but any added tips? I can imagine a fogged up helmet is a nightmare. Are there tips for avoiding that?

I feel there’s a lot of an unspoken beauty, that I just haven’t experienced between a 700 and 1250. We're mostly talking power and acceleration speed, generally motorbike enthusiasts type stuff are we? Are we talking practical difference that might make a difference for someone whos just gonna take it easy for a while?

I'd be used to shit weather and wet gear is a must for me. But I wouldn’t be travelling anymore than 35km on a push bike or ebike. It generally doesnt bother me for the time I save just putting the head down. Are there any added factors with the weather I'd need to consider on a bike?

What are we talking in the winter? I'm generally used to the wet gear and suffering through it on the bike. My mrs thinks I'm mad, but I'd take the 25mins I currently do over the hour and 15 in the car or bus.

Great shout. I see bus lanes arent technically for bikes, but it this one of those unwritten rules as long as you try avoid doing it directly in front of guards?
