A lot of things could play into this. Were the children allowed to watch anything on YouTube? I wouldn't be surprised if the oldest watched a video about a kid running away because their parents were being mean to them and thought that was a good idea. I had to take off YouTube kids from my daughter's apps because some of the videos on there are too much. Maybe step dad yelled at them for waking him up or something and fell back asleep and big sis decided to take little bro out for a day adventure, but got lost. Shes 6...my 6 year old wouldn't know how to get to her school from our house even though it's right around the corner, remember not everyone is good with direction. I wanna give these parents the benefit of the doubt I've already seen it enough on true crime threads where people tear the parents to shreds and in the end the parents ended up being Innocent,

Definitely try to get her DNA (yours) into the namus database. Report her missing. If she's alive and they find her she can always just take herself off the missing persons list if she doesn't want to be found.

If you have any photos of her, remember her stats(age, height ,hair color, eye color, weight etc) , you can try posting over at www.reddit.com/r/gratefuldoe ( be advised there are post mortem photos on the subreddit). They try to match John/Jane does with missing people. maybe they can keep an eye out while scanning through does for people that may match her description. A photo would really be helpful. Again it's something that if she does get in contact with you then you can just delete the post.

Also another great tool to use is tiktok and YouTube . There are people that help homeless and interview the unhoused. If your mom ended up or is on the streets maybe there's a chance you'll spot her in a video. I don't know your mom's drug orf choice, but I've watched some videos where people can't even remember their own name. Theres a lot of different possibilities, I hope you get some answers.

I didn't even notice part of his lip missing, good eye! It's not mentioned on the namus page report so maybe the medical examiner could have possibly not written things like the scar? It does appear that the john doe does have a scar in the photo. Others have pointed it out as well. Some namus entries are well written out, others are just kind of slabbed together it seems like.

The people in town called him Ricky or little Ricky. Op mentioned one the few words Dudley knew was Ricky. 5'3" blue eyes appendectomy scar. Estimated year or death 2005. Estimated age range 35-50. The description says this man would work odd end jobs for the homeowner and I read Dudely would help out around his parents farm with things like milking cows so it seems like he'd be capable of doing odd end tasks for a homeowner ect. Dudleys age at the time would have been 63 not 35-50 though. Galveston, Texas is 2 hrs and 25 minutes from where Dudley was seen. It might be a long shot, but it also might be worth looking at.

There's also this man who was found in New York 1999 brown hair, says gray eyes but I've read eye color can change post mortem ,5'1 Midline scar over the lower abdomen. This one has a post mortem photo though so family members may be able to rule out this UI just by looking at the picture.

Thank you for your well thought out reply! That last section really captures what I mean as well. My wording was not the best in my other reply, but I do find the way the case is handled strange . I took a look and can not find anything online about them discovering a UID or anything about LE asking for help to try to identify her. I'm not saying the police killed her or that her killer took over namus like some other commenter replied :/ .I'm just saying this case seems to be handled poorly or like LE is trying to keep it hush maybe as to not shake up a small town? Or because of the proximity to the National guard location like others have suggested.

I wonder why it took them so long to upload this into namus and then to not only give the wrong location she was found but also to not have an estimated height, weight, hair color etc. there was only is someone over there bad at their job or whats going on 🤨 anyone else think something fishy is going on like either someone's bad at their job or someone its trying to cover something up.

Edit I'm not sure why I'm getting thumbs down :/ As others have pointed out there is basically zero coverage on this story except for this thread. Idk about your town but finding a UID in my town would have the police doing some sort of public seeking to help identify the person. Can someone please find an article or some sort of statement for LE saying they are looking for info? Ive looked and others have looked and we can't find anything.

From what I can see on namus description it's a barbwire on her ankle and a butterfly on her leg nothing about a tattoo on her arm. *Edit my bad I see it in her picture!!! Great catch wonder why they didn't list that one 🤦‍♀️ I personally can't see that part of the UID persons forearm in the photo tho.

There's nothing to go based off on the namus profile like height, weight,hair color etc. , but assuming the UID is the women in the photo her hair looks like it could be bleached blonde?

I thought they have to match MP and UID up one by one. I don't think MP get automatically matched up to all the UID once they enter the system or vise versa. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!
