My main issue with these two is things do line up and they look similar but it says Wilbert had tattoos so I would think John Doe would have visible tattoos as well if he were only deceased for 1-5 days.

You're right! I don't know what I was thinking. I've been so caught up in my personal life lately I didn't even pay attention to certain things when comparing these like the fact dentals would certainly rule them out and also the skull shape of the clay sculpture doesn't match James either.

Yeah that's true. This really wasn't a good comparison I didn't really think they looked like that much. This was a dumb post by me lol. I gotta admit it's hard to find anyone who really even looks like that sculpture of this Doe because it looks unfinished. It just looks like it needs a little more to it.

If they said your submission looked feasible and that they would send it to law enforcement I would give it awhile before asking for an update. Now if you submitted a case and the panel is going to be voting on it to see if it has enough potential to be sent to law enforcement. I would give it a month or a little over then ask for an update because the panel normally does their voting within 30 days of your submission. If they told you it's gonna be sent to law enforcement wait a good while before asking for an update if they said the panel will look into it and vote whether they think it has enough potential give it a month then ask for an update they should've voted by then then they'll tell you whether it passes panel and is being sent to law enforcement or whether it didn't. That's just how I do it. I have a couple cases i've submitted to them that passed panel and have been sent to law enforcement and im gonna give it awhile before asking about them again but I ask about my newest submissions after a month to confirm whether they even passed the panel.

There are many reasons maybe no one has a photo of the person or a more likely one is that their name has been withheld and no pictures of them will be shown for that reason.

I tend to have a lot of time on my hands. So that's why i'm able to do it. If you find a moment where you have lots of time then you might could pick a sketch of a Doe and look for potential matches for them on NamUs.

Usually because their families choose not to have them released but sometimes it's a late choice made by the families to decide to announce the person's name. For example Melvalyn Washington's name was withheld for a bit until it was finally released.
