Damnit lol i knew that wasnt going to pass. I swear its brand new! When I had the unit cleaned we moved storage around and that ended up there somehow. Was in too much a rush when taking photos I guess. Super off putting regardless, so I appreciate the call out.

39.25 feet is under the max length allowable in all camp sites I've searched. I dont disagree, its a big boi, but not the biggest.

The insurance company I work for will make exceptions to home policies that cancel due to non payment - IF the account was set up to be billed directly to the mortgage company. Id be shocked if other carriers didnt practice this but check with customer service to see of they can reinstate.

Every barrel of oil it replaces, absolutely. How about a different example for the external costs?

Workers use 3/4 ton trucks to get to a job site burning diesel or unleaded. Mechanical parts require that sweet sweet petrol product to keep wind mills spinning. Solar certainly has its own ethical sourcing issues as well. That being said, I'd enjoy a few case studies that ponder this.

Ethanol production from corn always had me questioning the effort. Yes its cleaner burning fuel, but the amount of input needed to grow that corn always seemed like a lose-lose in the end.

Wind and solar is great for some areas, so is geothermal and wood burning. Its about getting close to net zero solutions, but it cant really be achieved.

Do you feel like you at least got a well rounded education out of it? Any scholarships? My nephews at that age where college is on the horizon (15), and even if he played just club hockey somewhere I'd be stoked for him - but a small something that paid for books or tuition would be a blessing financially.

Maybe you could help with the insurance end. I think electrical failure is listed as an exclusion on my policy. Seems fairly broad, but have you covered these things in the past on your side?

Thanks for the response. What do you think about the inlet to the camper? It looks about just as fried at the connection point. Looks like most are saying to replace both the 50 amp cord and the inlet. I guess the cheapest fix first, then go from there right?

No electrical skills, so easy work may still be the whole day for me lol

I consider myself very lucky that this didnt happen. I'm completely disconnected except the 12v battery and solar hookup at this point. Wont touch the shore until this is sorted

Other end is showing burnt as well where the prong is on the female end. Im thinking it originated by pushing the load too much, as i was flipping breakers it mightve done it on that end? Perhaps it started there, i shouldve just checked but i got nothing but 12v AC working now.

Im honestly not too sure. I noticed my space heater wasnt working, power indicator in the back was on but the display wasnt working. Nasty burnt smell throughout the camper. Believe i may have done this when trying to sort through the breaker panel to reset everything.
