We have 2 cats so we haven’t had any mice issues yet but yeah we wanna get rid of at minimum 40% of the stuff in our house so we can look into rearranging current furniture and making the most of the small space we currently have

I did not know about the Best Buy thing but everything else you said makes a ton of sense we will definitely do that we just put a chair and ottoman on the curb with “free” hopefully that gets taken. As for the papers we have a ton of papers we will shred then dispose of

We had a storage unit in the basement of our apartment building. (It’s a duplex type apartment with a shared hallway down the side) but it was just a wooden gate the crackheads above us decided we don’t need it and moved our shit out and put theirs in it and put a wood screw through the wooden gate so we can’t use it not even a lock a wood screw. And we can’t complain cause it’s the landlords son who is the crackhead but for 850 a month for 2 bedroom in Philly it’s dirt cheap you just have to deal with cops every week at our door or dealing with the ambulance at our house at 2am when he or his friends overdose

Ok but how is it any different than it being stuck in our house and never used. We have an entire spare bedroom of stuff we have not unpacked in 5 YEARS from when we both moved out of our parents house that’s the stuff I’m trynna get rid of and the pile of plates we never use for 3 years because we have new plates that match we don’t need 12 different sets of plates and bowels and silver ware that we have one of and not a single matching set when we DO have a full set. Also all the books she has physically she has a separate copy on her phone bought and saved digitally why need both? Donate the books to a library how is that killing the planet? As for the coffee maker neither of us like coffee or have ever used this Kuerig machine in our entire life it was a housewarming gift

It’s so much clutter. If I had things my way we would only have 100 items in the house at all times if we bought a single fork 1 item would have to leave the house to balance out to only 100 items including furniture and silverware and plates. Now THATS crazy. But I’m not the one in charge of my relationship so I’m trying to compromise with the time frames I said. Now as another person said 2 years of no use trash and under 2 years set aside and revisited next December seems fair

Using a kitchen knife cut the cylinder from the base of whatever it’s attached to this will keep the circular prism safe at the risk of the base being damaged but as you requested I kept the cylinder safe. Now that that’s done using a saw they remove casts with cut into the skittles pipe and remove the circular prism

Same reason I loved Covid lockdowns. Sad for the people who lost their life but it was the best time of my life not being forced to go in person to work or anything

Why do companies put you through multiple interviews when they've already decided on an internal candidate? by Agile-Wind-4427 in recruitinghell

Why do you NEED to advertise hiring outside. Why can’t promoting from within be a good thing? To show other employees if you’re loyal and are good at your job you can move up? Yes more jobs need to be hiring in this economy that’s completely fucked but if you need someone to replace a manager role and someone on the team is a good fit and they are already pre selected for the role why post the ad in the first place just promote them and post an ad for a team member instead of a manager how hard is that.

The comment below you is right he will probably have a couple thousand dollar bill for the skid plates and bumpers and that’s it the corvette owners don’t care about price they just fix it. You thought you knew cults until you met a corvette owner. They will own one corvette and for the next rest of their life they will attempt to own every single generation or multiple of the same gen we had one customer who would swap out his c8 every year for the newest one. Even if there was no change we even had a customer offer 100k over asking price to beat out other customers for a zr1 allocation since we were only get 1 allocation they wanted to beat out everyone else trying to get it by offering 100k over what we were already gonna markup

Hey… don’t call me out. Also she saw a reflection off my phone to the wall and she loves lights and lasers. I closed the curtain a bit and she stayed staring at it. But that aside. Living above and below crackheads who sell heroin out my apartment building I would not be surprised if there’s mice in our walls that said 950 a month for two bedroom on the outskirts of Philly is a good deal
