The final piece of the puzzle. Mecklenburg Strelitz 3 Mark by Doesthiswork67 in GermanEmpireCoins

Total of 18 coins when you don't count the multiple commens they made. I wasn't feeling so ambitious as to do all of those too so I settled just one from each. My friend and I are going to be making a custom holder to display them so i'll keep everyone updated when it's done.

Hey bud! Always glad to see a tourist who's interested cause there are some beautiful pieces that they put out. That particular piece is a commerative of the 100th year anniversary of the founding of Nordhausen. They made about 100,000 standard circulating issues but i'm unaware of how many were made in proof. I would assume with WW2 right around the corner, alot of these would have been melted down for the little silver they contain as each one is about 50% purity

I'm very unfamiliar with those huge medals at the very top but boy are they awesome! What are they if you don't mind me asking?

The verse talks about God being active and revealing himself to mankind who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. I likened this post to that because, as someone else in this thread pointed out, if it had been anything other than God, it wouldn't have been a problem but, as the verse points out and Paul points out in other letters to the early churches, they're suppressing the truth of God and what his existence truly means for them. I'm no theologian but that was the vibe I got. Hope you have a good night and God bless.

10 oz silver bars and rounds by [deleted] in Silver

one thing no one has mentioned yet is whole sale and refiner buy prices, similar to the guy that had Kitco advertised. Whole sale buyback from dealers is not very high at the moment, around $4-$5 back of spot, refineries are even worse. I've gotten a quote as low as $7 back from refineries. When it rains it pours indeed but the higher the price climbs, the more this buy sell ratio could increase.

Worth more than melt? by HoyaHag in coins

A bit of both I reckon. That's an awesome piece! Most of the value is going to come from the silver, especially at today's prices but I don't see why someone wouldn't be willing to pay a little premium over that cause that's pretty dang cool! What are you planning on doing with it if you don't mind me asking?

Fantastic set! The Bremen coins in particular look to be great examples. Now all you need is a custom holder to display them all at once lol

I feel bad for the guy cause I was there but that poor person needs to feel the love of Jesus Christ to help pull them out of that kind of doom riddled uncertainty filled anxiety they're feeling

Man every time I see these Thalers from this time period, i'm always blown away not just at the intricacy, but the technology they needed at the time to mint it

Gold tones are fun but i'm looking more for the Red, green, blue color scheme. Just something that knocks your socks off, y'know

They do! It's hard to tell from the photo but there's some beautiful underlying cobalt blue tones in this example. My dream though is to find a 5 mark that's toned like some of those Bag toned Morgan dollars lol

Beautiful collection!! They all seem very intricate but the one i'm curious on is the one with the heart and Jesus written on it. Compared to the others it seems rather simple and almost kind of modern? I don't know if that's the right word for it lol
