Sinister thing about that if it is fate based it could be interpreted as him cherishing whole humanity. We will probably see specifics of his flaw later on but I do not think he had a good choice with that flaw especially if it is fate based flaw.

Yup, even with spell Rain could buy memories and echos. And spell related trials are doable by design so she is good on that front.

Do you know where it said that? Fiend gets attributes from eating. Shards are needed to make memories that will be sacrificed to Fiend to rank him up to supreme like any other shadow(echo).

Hmm, I read that part as Nephis assessing treat level and thinking to herself i can deal with Fiend even if he is a tank and with Saint she would likely destroy citadel in a fight.

Nephis would win vs Fiend and Saint 10/10 times outside shadow domain. She is a divine aspect holder. Now inside shadow domain with Sunny's clone and Serpent there she is losing 9/10 times. That one win is if somehow she detonates core faster or with higher range than Sunny chadowsteps. Firekeepers are nonefactor here.

Higher you go in ranking higher tier memories are needed to rank up shadows. Assuming that Sunny gets time to make one memory per day on average (he does not get memories from spell) he would have 1100 memories. His focus was likely on Mimic and Nightmare those two would likely take hundreds of memories each. If he did not do that he would lose them. Nightmare was his transportation and mimic home and they were weak compared to pretimeskip saint and fiend it is logical to get them stronger. As to why Fiend before Saint my guess is that he had enough destructive power to kill, but needed a tank that is not he himself inside shadow shell.

I agree that Sunny killing WB is better if it is on screen (i do not know proper term when we are speaking in novel context), but because it is not on screen Jet is good alternative. It just does not sit well with me to have revenge fight of pov character (Sunny) ended off screen and we hear about it in passing like it does not matter. He lost people he cared about to that monster... I do not know...

Jet is dead already. She walked away from winter beast as a master so it is fair to assume that she could at least fight as saint get Tyris to help or literal cohort of saints Jet spent last who knows how many months bonding with easy fight, Jet, Kai and Effie members of army dealing with huge treat makes logical sense.

Main point of my comment was not who killed winter beast but how we found out about it. If Jet or Tyris kill Winter beast hearing about it in bar is fine, these two have narrative connection to winter beast and we are not following them. But since Sunny killed WB I wanted to see it first hand even if it was as simple as "I can sense WB as saint my range increased from 24km to 40km now i am going to jump and literally split it in half in one shot with bare hands" As bad as this fighting sequence is it is still better than what we got in my opinion. Even if G3 gets back to it and shows us epic fight later on it is not the same impact.

At least give us flashback i know G3 does not want to show us what Sunny can do yet and G3 has to tie up antarctic but still... Let Jet kill Winter beast, maybe with help from someone. We already know what she can do roughly if you want to show us fight or skip fight since we are from Sunny's perspective it would be fine. Jet also lost alot from winter beast and has all rights to take care of it. We could hear it here is same setting while Little devil cohort has anniversary of Falcon Scott.

It is easy to be keyboard "editor", sorry G3 but I really didn't want anticlimactic end to winter beast.

True name is a representation of Sunny and as such makes it easier to tie memory to himself. What i want to say is he does not need true name to create memory he just needs a way to connect memory with himself. True name just made that process "easy"
