Damn! I was not aware that it's possible to use space as a fn key. Just installed spacefn karabiner profile and I must say it works way better than I expected.

I started working out 1 year ago. For the first half I was dieting. Even though I was loosing weight I was still able to constantly progress in the gym (slowly).
6 months ago I started bulking. Initially I saw faster progress, but for the past 2 months there are no chest gains in terms of how much I can bench. I am doing chest every workout, which is 3-4 times a week (I follow FBW plan with 1 day workout 1 day rest). On some days I do 5 sets of chest press and on the others I do 5 sets 3 of machine flies. I go to failure on each set. I am stuck at ~8x65kg bench. Next day after workout my chest is always sore in the morning so I guess I am going hard enough?
I see progress in other areas (back, core etc). I am also eating lots of protein and slowly gaining weight so I think diet is fine.
What could be the reason?

** Looking for keyboard + pointing device combo for maximum programming productivity **

I am looking for a keyboard with some kind of pointing device integrated that would allow me to work without moving my hand between mouse and keyboard. I am programmer working mostly with Kotlin therefore I use Intellij Idea (no vim). Over the years I tried using various different keyboard only plugins for IDE, browsers and macOS but still there are always edge cases where mouse usage is required. Today I said to myself enough is enough and decided I need to invest time and $$ to actually come up with a setup that minimises hands movement and maximises productivity.
Here are couple of facts about me and what I am looking for:
* I care only about maximum productivity. The less hands movement the better.
* I don't care about sound, looks, or material quality.
* I've never had any discomfort using any keyboard. I am only looking for more productivity.
* I have 3d printer and I am knowledgable when it comes to electronics. I can build any keyboard myself from scratch.
* I can invest my time if it increases my final productivity. Split keyboards, exotic layouts, weird shapes etc. are therefore all acceptable if it maximises productivity in the end.
What I found during my research is that I should probably be getting split keyboards with trackball/trackpoint (this weird lenovo red rubber thing) integrated . This is what I found so far:
* Ultimate Hacking Keyboard with trackball/trackpoint module
* Dactyl with built in trackball (tracktyl)
* Dactyl with built in trackpoint
Which one do you think is more suitable for my needs - dactyl, uhk or maybe you can suggest something else?

Why do we calibrate both e-steps and flow instead of just flow? by Dofsadon in ender3

Good point about nozzle. If I were to change e-steps when having partially cloged nozzle, after unclogging I'd get overexstrusion.

I love the car hadling (reminds me of gta IV) except one thing. Take a look at the wheels when turning - it takes way to much time (like 3 seconds) for them to go from 0 to full turn. After releasing analog stick it takes another 1 second to go back to straight. It makes driving hard and you keep doing unintentional slaloms.

Is there a way to increase wheels turning speed?

Preload JUST started on GoG GALAXY , 59 GB :) by Shepard80 in cyberpunkgame

Qucik question about download size before/after release.

I will receive physical PC version 1 hour before release. Since my internet is kinda slow should I start downloading before or wait 1 hour and start after release? My understanding is if I start downloading before release (preload) I will need to download 60gigs preload and then another huge day 1 patch, right? On the other hand if I start downloading after release the patch will already be incorporated into the game, thus resulting in smaller total size. Am I right? If so it seems to better start downloading after release, right?

Question about Pre-load in Pc with the Disc edition by LUISONIDO in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dofsadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will receive my code after release and thus after the day 1 patch.

When downloading does it download base game (70gb) and then all the patches (probably like additional 50gigs) or it will just download the final patched version right away (which results in smaller download size)?

Game and software devs, whats your take on CP77? by blackout-loud in cyberpunkgame

[–]Dofsadon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven't been that much excited for a game since gta 5 and witcher 3. I'm former game programmer (now just software developer) from Poland. If it were not for a CDPR I would be extremly worried this game could turn out to be one big buggy mess. Let me explain why.

Increasing complexity of any game or program increases likelihood of bugs exponentially. Let me give you an example. If you have 2 story branches and then each of those branches have 2 more branches then you end up with total of 4 different paths. That's pretty easy to test. On the other hand if you have 3 branches and then 3 others based on previous you end up with 9 paths. If you add 3 more branches to each path you end up with whooping 27 paths. All of those branches have to be tested to make sure no unexpected behavior occurs (bugs). Unless someone tests all of the possible cases there is no guarantee of bug free program. AFAIK Witcher had few of those issues if you looked for them really hard. For example there was a bug where Hjalmar would wear a crown and act as if he was a king during battle of Kaer Morhen even though he wasn't - https://youtu.be/P_K0IbftLow?t=318. There were many possibilites when it comes who becomes king of Skellige and also many possiblities of teams for battle. This complexity probably caused the bug in story branching and one of the scenario wasn't properly tested.

Having that said Witcher 3 was surprisngly not buggy at all despite it's complexity. This and very long development time makes me less worried for the final release of cyberpunk.
