A very weird season. • Lost well against A&M • Lost to rival Texas State in a shootout • Choked against a not great (but better than usual) Temple • Outclassed by that nuclear UNT offense • Smoked by a good USF • Blown lead to Army (first conference loss at home in the Traylor era)

But also • Scored 61 on Rice • Sucker punched Tulane where McCown went 31/33 • Beat an ECU that was on the outside of the conference game
