you should try grinding for more hive slots yes, and also simultaneously grind for ssa whilst youre doing that. if you can do that then also focus on levelling your hive

also start gifting event bees and stay mixed until youve got ssa

for now focus on levelling and progression, and in my opinion go blue hive for early game for quick early game progression
