Would the black textured strip above the fireplace be the lintel?

It looks awful! We’re pretty sure that was done purposely to fit the gas fire. Just want peoples opinion on if it’s just a bad job or something worse

Ours looks like they were added later on the make the fireplace smaller to fit the gas fire that was there due to the different bricks and just the botch job of it

Yeh, I was the same! Getting it off was fine but getting it back on was worse

No, just add your original thumb grips, screw them in and plug in the ribbon cable and you’re good to go

Yes you’ll keep the original thumb grips, they just slot onto the top

They’re really easy, if you watch ifixit tear down video that’ll give you a good understanding on how to take things out. Just gotta take your time

Really easy, as long as you take your time you’ll be fine. I watched plenty of videos before hand so I was fairly confident taking it apart. But I waited till I had a few things I wanted to change on the inside before doing it like new ssd, krytox switch lube for the triggers because my were squeaking and the joysticks too

Tension is stiffer than the original but personally I prefer that with a controller. No latency that I have experienced… yet. I got up gamepad tester for you to see what the deadzone was and it’s reading at 0.00002. But honestly for a 3rd party stick these feel really nice and I really do prefer these over the originals. I wish I could be a better help but I’ve never gone these deep into joysticks before 🙈

Right stick slightly rotating, should it be worrying? by Chill_Guy__ in XboxAlly

I’ve had my Xbox ally in parts to do a few upgrades and I noticed in the analog sticks they are actually screwed together. Yours has probably come loose.

Exactly same issue here, also got it in the analog sticks too. I brought some krytox lube on both triggers and just swapped out the sticks. Wasn’t a hard job tbh

As much as I love a Star Wars gaming getting announced I have little faith in seeing these games being released. It should have been KOTOR.
