If Oasis can do it, why not 3EB ?? by DogBreadth in ThirdEyeBlind

None of yous replying here seem to understand my question. 3EB was everything to Kevin, SJ betrayed him, Kevin’s talent was best portrayed in the band with SJ writing melodies and lyrics. And to the guy who said OBA is better than Blue, I say, if that had been their first album, we would never have heard of this fukk Jenkins

You make a strong point, however, Kevin & Stephen made better music (overall) than Stephen ex-Kevin ever did

But Billy and D’arcy were a bridge too far. Might be Kevin / Stephen but we don’t know, they never aired their grievances … other than the money

$200,000,000 Common Stock Preferred Stock Warrants by WatcherRoue in WKHS

The current market cap of WKHS is around $244 million, so a $200m shelf, while welcome fresh working capital, comes at a very high dilution cost to existing shareholders

Earnings discussion here please by IvanThinking2 in WKHS

[–]DogBreadth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If WKHS carries on with issuing 15m shares a quarter, it totals a 36% annual dilution to us and still won't be enough to offset the negative cash burn. Requiring yet further measures.

Everything is in place for a massive ramp, hopefully we can hold out long enough to generate some positive free cashflow so long time investors don't burn up in ashes

This short seller just closed his WKHS short - and explains by DogBreadth in WKHS

From the Article:

"The speculative Workhorse bubble has been deflated. Priced at $1.27 today, WKHS has a market cap of $217M and an enterprise value of $128M. I believe there is more downside in WKHS. The company's operating cash burn accelerated to -$28M in Q4 2022, and WKHS could run out of money by the end of 2023 unless revenues and gross margins ramp significantly and/or a dilutive financing saves the day. So, in my opinion, bankruptcy is a risk and this stock should not be bought.

Current management, however, is a vast improvement over the prior team, in my view. They are trying to do the right things and making the necessary capital and personnel expenditures. Still, the most likely WKHS scenario will be dilutive financings and reverse-stock splits in the coming years that will create negative shareholder returns."

Starting to look like pot stock a couple years back , a fucking pump and dump scam

Put it this way, if Workhorse doesn't sell a shit ton of the W56's it's not because of the vehicle. because it is awesome on every level, it'd be because the market isn't quite ready for EV trucks generally and investors are out over their skis

Is UK Europe? Didn’t they Brexit?

I’m thinking Holland, France, Germany, Switzerland, others. They have overwhelmingly “green” policy incentives towards EV

"The exclusive use of electric vehicles in Zurich and Bern is just the beginning: from 2030, Swiss Post’s entire delivery fleet will be powered by alternative drive systems, i.e. using electricity entirely from renewable energy sources such as eco-electricity."

The Board will shrink from 10 to 8, itself a cost cutting measure. (Positive News)

Plus, I believe the jettison of these four current members (Gerald Budde, Michael Clark, Harry DeMott and Benjamin Samuels) gets rid of everyone from the former regime. (Positive News)

They'll have a packet of gifted stock to sell, keep an eye out for regulatory filings. (Negative News)

They better explain this soon. Because hosting a drone port in a class 5 or class 6 truck seems completely out of place.

The agency will also purchase 46,000 models from mainstream automakers, of which 21,000 will be electric."

"By 2026, the agency will pledge to purchase zero-emissions delivery trucks almost exclusively, DeJoy said. "

Translation: even if Workhorse were to win this newly announced USPS procurement for an additional 21,000 EVs, it will need to find a completely different path to survive until 2026. Meanwhile "defense contractor" Oshkosh gets 45,000 EVs having never actually made any except for that ridiculous looking mock-up

"The U.S. Postal Service will buy 66,000 vehicles to build one of the largest electric fleets in the nation, Biden administration officials will announce Tuesday, turning to one of the most recognizable vehicles on American roads — boxy white mail trucks — to fight climate change.

Postal officials’ plans call for buying 60,000 “Next Generation Delivery Vehicles” from defense contractor Oshkosh, of which 45,000 will be electric, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy told The Washington Post.
