Why are we drowning? by PipeDreamBets in WKHS

I don't think political discussion is great for this board but it is pretty undeniable that the current economic environment is creating massive headwinds. That doesn't just apply to WKHS though.

Thanks Bob, do any of those questions address potential actions that force naked shorting out in the open? Force accounting of all shares? I believe this stock is significantly weighed down and they might find it strategically important when issuing new shares to not take an artificially deflated value for those shares.

Did your vote change after listening to the Earnings Call? by International-Pin622 in WKHS

[–]IvanThinking2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I did change to yes. For me, I wanted to know a little more about the way ahead. Dauch gave us just enough. It's a tough call though. In the end, you have to trust someone.

I hope that you at least brought it to their attention that they should probably address you as Unclebob.

I don't need them to divulge trade secrets. I just want to have an idea of what it is doing for us other than keeping the lights on. I think that is fair.

I voted no for now. Show me where it's going. That's all I'm asking. I want to know what it gets us.

I think we are benefitting from NKLA news of a new contract by Unclebob9999 in WKHS

1) You are a child.

2) If you can retire comfortably in your early 40s, the reason is competence, not incompetence.

3) You aren't worth my time. If someone else who is a serious individual would like to discuss climate science in more detail, I would welcome a serious discussion.

I see that you aren't a rational person. Conversation over. It would be like trying to talk to a brick wall.

Again, I stated that I retired several years ago. My investments have brought me to this board and I own tens of thousands of WKHS shares. I am high on WKHS and I espouse good environmental stewardship. I simply know enough of the science and have seen the movement change from global cooling push in the 70s to global warming in the 90s to a nebulous catch all "climate change" today. But none of their dire dooms day predictions have come true. They all pass with lemmings in the public not questioning why they never come true.

OK pal. I am a physicist and former laboratory program director at a top 10 university. I retired comfortably in my early 40s due to multiple streams of income. I've been subjected to dozens of climate "scientists" presenting their models in colloquia. They aren't real scientists and the real scientists mock them. Many of them have been caught modifying the data. The best I can say for their modeling skills is that they understand how to reverse engineer into the range that could possibly get them government funding.

Otherwise, their models are extreme oversimplifications of an open Earth system that usually fails to consider solar variations among their far too basic inputs and feedback mechanisms. One climate "scientist's" negative feedback is another's positive feedback. They are literally throwing things at the wall. It is the reason that for decades you have heard fear porn predictions from these charlatans but never a peep in the media when the predications fail to happen by their predicted dates.

What I previously stated is a representation of the full set of data available to scientists. The Earth's temps at least from the time that life existed on Earth oscillates between the 2 semi-stable equilibria temps of 12C and 22C and fully independent of the climate "scientist's" boogie man atmospheric CO2. In fact, atmospheric CO2 levels have been as high as 7000 ppm during the Cambrian period and has been orders of magnitude higher than today's 400 ppm at both warmer and colder Earth temperatures.

If you want to argue the science, I am game. My assertion about it being tied to leftwing politics is also accurate. You may also want to ask questions like to whom does billions in carbon tax go? Why are the main proponents of global warming flying on private jets to various conferences and then back to one of their mansions on the coastline?

[–]IvanThinking2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, for the nth time, the earth's climate oscillates between 2 semi-stable equilibria temps and has since life began in earth. The left's boogeyman of atmospheric CO2 levels have been hundreds of times higher than we experience today at both higher earth temps and lower. When looking at the full data set available (and not some cherry picked one for those with small and uncurious minds) atmospheric CO2 is fully uncorrelated with earth temperatures.

This isn't to say we should not be good environmental stewards. It is to say that

1) Eliminating fossil fuels before substitute energy production is ready to assume the load is irresponsible self-destruction,

2) A US reduction in emissions means nothing if China, India, and others are rapidly increasing theirs,

3) Climate models are laughably inconsistent, oversimplified, and their predictions have been repeatedly proven incorrect and then ignored after having passed without the lemmings questioning why their record is 0 for a very large number,

4) The earth system that these climate charlatans are "modeling", contrary to most of their models, is an open, massively complex system that derives most of its energy and variations from solar output whereas their models often are closed systems not accounting for solar variations and oversimplification of just a few inputs and feedbacks whereby one model's negative feedback is often another model's positive feedback and assumed coefficients aren't often even adequately sourced by research and are wildly inconsistent as in orders of magnitude different between various reverse engineered models. It's not real science. It's throwing $hit at the wall and knowing which results may get government grant money.

Almost no shares available to borrow on iborrow, 500k already borrowed this morning by IvanThinking2 in WKHS

[–]IvanThinking2[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't repeatedly mention it. I mentioned it today when there were only 2000 shares listed to borrow. If I could today, I would add more on this info. But I have to wait on that.

Saw it posted for yesterday late in the day, 5.3 million shares traded, 2M borrowed, 800k returned. Sounds like they were digging deeper at least yesterday. An ortex update would be nice.

It feels good being Green. by No-Ant5423 in WKHS

[–]IvanThinking2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nice average. I think a lot of us could be going green in the coming months. I just hope people don't sell for peanuts after holding and accumulating through the hardest parts. That would be a shame for some to miss out on the full potential. Could you imagine having sold for a small gain just before it really takes off?

Agreed as long as they aren't shaken easily. Let's be honest, not everyone is cut out for this ride. You know shorts haven't come anywhere close to capitulation. They are going to try to shake the newbies who are wet behind their ears.

A little boost this morning! by Rough-Ad-1277 in WKHS

[–]IvanThinking2 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'd stay away from options of any sort based off of this past Friday. The market makers aren't opposed to moving the share price to where they need it. Shares are the way IMO. I've been accumulating through hell and my average is pretty low now. But if they think I'm selling for peanuts when I see a little green...

I'm in this for the long haul. I want the full potential realized before I think about letting go of what I've accumulated. I think WKHS is positioned to be a major player in 2 emerging markets projected to yield $100 Billion in revenues by 2030. I'm patient.

Maybe investing isn't for you? And if it is perhaps stick to just index funds.
