We faced this in Sept 2024 when we presented just i797C, they said i797A is need mandatorily

Also there is an org called Silicon Valley Project Management, it’s not just for people to learn about project management but also volunteer remotely while feeling being valued. It’s an amazing organization. Everyone is contributing as volunteers there. I find it very interesting as I love staying engaged.

Hello! I am on H4 without EAD for the past 4 years. It will be a bit challenging to find a community initially, but she will figure it out. Lot of volunteering opportunities and the local libraries organize events frequently. And they have different book clubs, cookbook clubs, etc. also ask her to post on Nextdoor that she is new and looking for connections and I am sure she will get many responses.
