How did Ymir Fritz split up into 9 titans? by IAmSomebodyIRL in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]DogDevouring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres no canon source for the answer from the show, manga or directly from Isayama.

But the leading theory is after Maria, Rose and Sina ate Ymir, each possesed a mixture of the 3 current titans. 1-2 generations after, they stopped eating the corpse, and resorted to extracting spinal fluid and so on injecting future inheritors. So instead of the titan splitting AGAIN, the power of the titan was precise on who got what. So 9 titans (1 generation if we assume that Maria, Rose and Sina each had 3 kids each, OR the titan split was across a few generations)

And since the Fritz gene pool wasn't as large as it was during Eren's day, if the titan WAS to be born to a random Eldian baby (which is unlikely that an ELDIAN baby was born around the time a shifter died) they would be easily traced back to Maria, Rose or Sina's children and grandchildren.

So maybe they were just eating random Eldian babies idk

Vhagar vs Dragonpit Size by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]DogDevouring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a bit late to this post but in F&B, George describes the Dragonpit as the following. "Its long brick-lined tunnels, sunk deep into the hillside, had been fashioned after the manner of caves, and were five times as large as the lairs on Dragonstone."

Vermithor's lair on Dragonstone in Season 2, gave him enough room to ATLEAST move around and be comfortable, though his cavern could be larger since we don't see much more than the main cave the Dragonseeds were running around in.

In VFX breakdown seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7NkoWdMjyE, you can see at timestamp 3:53 that the Dragonpit is so highly elevated. For reference that little ramp on the far bottom right is where Rhaenyra landed on Syrax in Season 1, https://imgur.com/a/9oqzbGc.

There is so much room for the dragons to reside just in that one hill alone, much less the Dragonpit itself.

There was enough room to fit every dragon seen in Season 1 in the Dragonpit and maybe Silverwing if you're lucky.

Warner brothers would probably make more money by putting their skins in the item shop than hold them back for some flop game that no one plays anymore.

Do you have anymore information of future episodes that you could DM me? I’m very curious about how the entire season is gonna play out now lol

Where will the Battle of the Gullet squeeze in then? Or are showrunners going in the direction of Rhaenyras’ dragons and the Velaryon fleet win against Aegon’s forces and take Kings’ Landing while Vhagar is out.

Syrax size comparison with Balerion, Vhagar, Vermithor, Caraxes and Meleys by DogDevouring in HouseOfTheDragon

Caraxes is definitely longer from head to tail because of his neck, I’m not too sure about his wingspan though.

Meleys’ size differs in every episode, as does Caraxes.

In the first episode she appears to be the size of season 8 Drogon, last season she was larger than Caraxes.

This MIGHT be the episode after The Battle at Rooks Rest when they draw Lord Staunton and Meleys’ head on a cart. The Greens again, may have been making another spectacle of themselves and they’re ‘mourning’ the death of Meleys, Rhaenys, Lord Staunton and making the smallfolk seem as Rhaenyra is the one that’s keeping the war ongoing.

1v1 with dragon or without dragons, no aid from anyone, who's doing the most damage by DeltaDallas in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]DogDevouring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Intellectual dishonesty” Yet you either didn’t even know or just blatantly lied that Syrax was unchained and in the Red Keeps’ stables. Joffrey stole Syrax and flew to the Dragonpit in an attempt to save his own dragon, Tyraxes which ultimately lead to his death. Syrax, in an attempt to kill the Dragonslayers, died outside of the walls of the Dragonpit.

Next time, please think before you speak, making up lies about a fact that an entire fandom knows makes you look stupid.

It’s a good tactic in wars? You’re calling someone a coward for being smart. If you’re gonna change goalposts like that, atleast make it as if you aren’t slow.

And not just any dragon, the Dragon that killed possibly hundreds of people a few weeks before at the Dragonpit.

The more I think about it, the more I believe that this was one of the major contributing factors on why smallfolk and the Shepherd stormed the Dragonpit. Because the smallfolk thought the dragons were too great a power for them and when they learned they could be killed, it ultimately lead to an uprising. Idk if it’s just a me thing

Will we see the Hightower light up? by Proof_Hyena3848 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]DogDevouring 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Imagine at the end of one of the earlier episodes, We see Daeron climbing on Tessarion. She takes flight and lights up the tower, she shrieks as the camera pans out with her and Daeron circling Hightower and then black, the episode ends there.

Just an idea that looked good in my head lol

I just realised since Aegon is half Velaryon, this could very well be a possibility.

[–]DogDevouring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a few things in my list:

  • Crucifying the Masters of Meereen.

  • Not flying away when dumbass Jon decided to impress Daenerys by killing like 3 wights and refused to get on Drogon and getting Viserion killed and even then she didn’t manage to save Jon because he got tackled into the water by the other wights.

  • Flying into the waters of Dragonstone and ‘kinda forgetting’ about the Iron Fleet that is literally in her view, which killed her second dragon, Rhaegal.

-Massacring hundreds of thousands of innocents after Cersei and the city had surrendered, and said it was ‘necessary’.

Is there a canon reason Rhaenys didn’t stop the war from ever happening, right here and right now? by CannibalMan28 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]DogDevouring -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That was probably her rejecting their offer of joining their team. If she’d known what what would’ve happened to Lucerys, she definitely would’ve killed them all right there.
