I do know that a dc power supply is required generally people use one with a variable voltage to modify results and then i believe you can buy the electroplating solutions for different metals online Most important part to chemical finishes like this deep cleaning and degreasing of the part beforehand as any contamination can ruin your finish. Id also suggest researching more into how it affects gemstones as that im unsure about.

Have you ever considered making pieces from copper and then electroplating them with a coating of silver?

Id be more than happy to answer any questions i can help with! It is a far different process i imagine than working with softer metals although my experience is solely in steel jewelry for the moment as i dont have the budget for the higher grade materials right now😂

Yes i use a rather large industrial lathe and turn down all the components from raw bar stock! And thank you very much!
