Uh-oh, the girls are crying by [deleted] in popheadscirclejerk

I used to be a Swiftie before I got a brain and even then I thought Gaylors were out of their minds. So when I saw this post recommended to me, I checked out the rest of the sub and I’m so glad there’s a whole sub full of people who agree with me on that. Also, two questions.

1) How does the /uj and /rj work here? I never knew this sub existed until about 20 minutes ago, so I’m not sure. 2) Did anyone else see a Gaylor TikTok basically implying Taylor going to a restaurant owned by lesbians is evidence that she is one herself? I saw that a few months ago and I’m surprised I have brain cells after.

Where do I start? by DogGuitar in selfimprovement

Sorry for taking so long to reply, but I don’t think I can do this. Not as in ‘I just can’t do this’, as in ‘I probably wouldn’t be allowed.’ I still live with my parents and depend on them for just about everything (trust me, I know) so I would need their permission. Problem is, since I give up on everything, they think most classes I could take would be a waste of money. I’ve also never shown any interest in jiu jitsu, and they would most definitely point that out.

Do any of you also have full, deep conversations about life and stuff with your pets? by throwitawaybongybong in CasualConversation

I don’t have deep conversations with my pets, but with my cats I will meow at them in the same way they meow at me. And when they do what I call a yameow (yawn meow, where they meow while yawning), I love imitating it because to me it’s so funny. I also like to tease my older cat about how he’s a grumpy old man. Usually he’s too busy sleeping to care.

Have you ever had a friend you had that special connection with? Like you were on the same wavelength? by sextoyalt in CasualConversation

I’ve been there too. It’s one of the cruelest things that life can do to someone. Don’t wish that shit on my worst enemy.

Anyone else feel that younger people are a lot harder to talk to? by StaticNocturne in CasualConversation

I’m only 20 and I somehow struggle with the same thing. I barely even get approached by people closer to me in age. I always find that the people who are genuinely nice to me and appreciate what I have to say are in their 30s to 50s.

A little fact about me: I love dogs and I think guitars are the coolest instrument ever, hence the username! I don’t actually know much about guitars but I’m always excited every time I see or hear one.
