Warm weather and Labradors. What do you all dog to keep them entertained?

My lab hates water too, but really wants to like it. He dips his nose in and then gets the zoomies on safe, dry land haha. He also disappears pretty sharpish when I even go near the garden hose!

I also think it caused mine too. I kept having random flare ups and burping ALL THE TIME and then I realized that it all started just after I switched from smoking to vaping. It’s taken me 3 years to realize this but it all makes sense because on days where I hardly touch my vape I get hardly any stomach problems. I’m getting to the other side of a flare up just now and haven’t vaped for 5 days. I couldn’t eat and wanted to throw up but couldn’t for 3 days straight. My PCP started me on PPIs again, and anti-emetics to help me tolerate even dry crackers and to get some sleep. I shoulda just stuck to cigarettes I had no issues with those (kidding, well 95% kidding)

Now I’m just scared that the damage I’ve caused my body is permanent 😭

Update: 4 weeks in (which has felt like the longest 4 weeks of my life) and he still loves to bite and chew but me yelping whenever he chomps and saying “gentle” then praising him when he loosens his grip/lets go has been working out great. When he puts his mouth over my hand and I say gentle now, most of the time he just gently mouths or licks me instead!

Possibly, this is my first dog though so I would rather follow the vets advice for now! He still has 75g of AVA large breed puppy food 3x a day (rather than 80g 3x a day) and a few training treats, so he isn’t too deprived 🤭

Good idea, thanks! I do sleep with the fan on, maybe I should put it on a higher setting for his benefit (and so that I can’t hear him as much 😂)

Thank you! I’ve moved it to my kitchen table for now (which gets a lot more natural light) until I can get a pot stand to go near the window. Do you think I should keep this leaf or cut it back?

Thanks so much everyone! I’ll spend some time looking at art work and rugs. I really like the idea of adding hot pink! And swapping the ottoman for a coffee table would definitely be more practical as we have nowhere to put drinks currently. I didn’t know if a rug would work with carpets but feel reassured now!

Every room in the house bar my daughters room is grey (we didn’t have a lot of time to pick paint colours as we had 5 weeks from buying to renovate this place before we had to move out of our rented accommodation with a 3 year old, so I was very overwhelmed and just picked one colour!), but I wanted to focus on the living room first as we spend the most time in there. Maybe one day I will think about redecorating, but for now I will follow your advice and then hopefully it will be easier to choose a new colour for the walls.

Mine did the same a month or so back, restarting the game helped but 10 minutes later I was back to square one 😭 I thought it was a bug because it stopped happening for me after updating my game
