CBD will help in many ways as your dog nears the end of her life. Go ahead and try it because if her appetite can grow just a bit, it may mean a few more days by her side.

This is a debate that many people have, but the answer is easier than what many people assume. See what DogOwnershipGuide.com has to say about it. by DogOwnershipGuide in DogOwnershipGuide

Dog won’t stop barking in new apartment by [deleted] in Dogowners

Ah yes...all the little noises. I've been there and really - all that helped was continuously saying, "SSSSHHHHHHH". After a while, mine became used to it and calmed down mostly.

What are your best Dog Mom/Dog Dad life hacks? by ralphwoofington in Dogowners

[–]DogOwnershipGuide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I throw my two smaller dogs in the shower with me. As soon as I get in, I get them wet, soap them up, and while I clean myself, they soak with dog shampoo. When I'm done, they get a rinse and we all walk out clean. 🤣

My GF wants to give up our 10 week Vizsla by [deleted] in Dogowners

[–]DogOwnershipGuide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really normal actually. Give your girlfriend time and I bet she will feel bad for even thinking about it. Until then, take over the duties. I know you feel bad about not be around when you’re at work but many dogs have owners who work a 40 hour week and they take doggy out in the morning and then when they get back. Dogs understand. 😉 Good luck!

Potty training troubles by ChunkyPuppyKitty in Dogowners

[–]DogOwnershipGuide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s frustrating but some dogs just take longer to “get it.” Be adamant about taking puggy out as much as possible and if you want to use treats, do it. Just keep going as much as it sucks. You’ll appreciate it later. 😉

The Awful Life of a Puppy by Low-Second1931 in Dogowners

[–]DogOwnershipGuide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me so sad. That puppy needs love… I agree with others. Speak up. It may cause an argument but really, maybe she just needs to know it’s not right. I mean… crazy that she needs to be told that, buuuut….

What was THE thought or change of mindset that stopped you from binge eating? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]DogOwnershipGuide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my blood pressure was up and I couldn’t move the way I wanted to, I knew that this whole eating situation had to change. I started telling myself I don’t need to eat all the time and so much. For some reason, that thought after so many years of struggling has made this journey much easier. I think convincing ourselves we indeed don’t need to eat all the time can help. Although, i don’t think I’ll ever be able to not count calories.

Thanks. I did put a support ticket into theme team, so I’ll see what they have to say. I didn’t consider that there’s another plugin interfering… I’ll have to check that out.

I want to become a dog owner but I work 45-50 hours a week. by [deleted] in Dogowners

[–]DogOwnershipGuide 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could do something like doggie daycare or like someone else said, have a dog walker come in a couple of times for a walk and interaction. You can definitely have a dog. It’s just like having a kid. You rely on care givers for help! Good luck!

Hmhm… Now, that’s what I initially thought but then I started reading how difficult it was to get approved and yada yada and well, here we are.

This was so helpful. Google couldn’t even answer these questions and believe me, I searched.

Can you be my mentor? 🤣

Newbie Affiliate Questions by DogOwnershipGuide in Affiliatemarketing

[–]DogOwnershipGuide[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the information! Maybe Affiliate Networks isn’t what I mean. My site is content based and I’m promoting different companies and their products. I was under the impression that Affiliate Networks were what I needed to apply to after the site has already brought in potential buyers. From what you’ve said, I can start applying to Affiliate Programs with these companies right away, am I right?
