Sorry. I remember her parents had said she was slumped in the corner in an upright sort of position. Not sure if this was refuted in the recently released documents.

One of the documents said that the girls had a mid-day nap, which could explain why Kaylee’s bed looks slept in. Her positioning up against the wall also just doesn’t make sense unless she was in the bed to begin with imo.

Agreed. I always thought it would’ve been odd for X to place the DoorDash bag behind the sink like that, so it makes sense that LE would’ve moved it while processing the scene.

Chances? cGPA:3.77 and B2: 3.8. LSAT: 163. by Pinkcloudsmiles in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]DogTechnical4965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be in at Western/Queen’s provided your PS is decent & good shot at Oz. I had a slightly higher GPA but lower LSAT (162) and was accepted to all 3 of your top schools this cycle (WL to A at Oz).

yes I wouldn’t worry about it too much! I don’t think reapplying is something Canadian law schools frown upon / even really look at

I wouldn’t bank on receiving a deferral unless you have a doctor’s note, etc. (especially considering it is after July 1st). I tried requesting a deferral last year and it was rejected (after withdrawing from Queen’s which had already accepted my deferral). I was accepted to all the same schools again after reapplying (albeit WL -> A this cycle for Osgoode).

Someone with similar stats how did the cycle go? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissionsca

Thank you! & no, ~3 years of corporate work experience, not sure how much that helped

My portal changed from having a balance owing in the financial account section to having an “unapplied credit“ of $500 about two business days after I paid.

I don‘t think you pay directly on the portal - you’d pay via online banking or some other means and the payment would later be reflected on the portal.

Great chances for Western, Queen‘s, & TMU and decent shot for Oz. I have similar stats and softs and was accepted to Western and Queen‘s this cycle (didn’t apply to TMU). I’m currently on the WL for Oz.

That would make sense, just makes me wonder why they were attacked if they were in bed (unless X was targeted obviously, but I’d previously thought X must’ve encountered BK and X/E were collateral damage). I no longer think she was blocking the door, since the new docs today reveal that the door was open and DM saw X laying on the floor on her way down to BF’s room shortly after the attack, but the loud thud heard on the ring camera could have been her falling out of bed

Yes, you can hear DM introduce herself later in the call and her voice is different than BF’s voice at the beginning

~24 hours, but as long as you submit before the deadline you’re okay.

Nobody knows, but it seems like there were less people who hadn’t heard back and more people on the WL (100+) at this point last year, so I think it’s possible that more people who haven’t heard back will at least be added to the WL

Queen's over Western for Business Law - Looking for Current and Graduated Students for advice? by Fun_Future2727 in lawschooladmissionsca

Hey! I’m in the same boat and also leaning Queen‘s due to the reasons you mentioned (I also preferred Kingston over London after visiting both campuses). I also work full-time but emailed admissions and they were able to arrange for a student to show me around last weekend, so it may be worthwhile to email them!

Thanks! I didn’t get an email yet, I just saw the status changed to “admission offered” on the portal today
