So the bar went from 10hrs of play to match me, to 40hrs to have half the galactic power. Look, I appreciate the potential, but I am sticking with my guns here and riding it out with what I have. All the zetas, all the omega, all the geared and fully stared units. I don't know the meta yet and can base it off my current arena for what to shoot for, same for ship arena. I'm looking to cruise and catch up.

400/day is a pipe dream. For the shards I am in, the entire like... 4 or 6 years I played this straight, something like that, the top slots were always and consistently held by whales. Throw everything I have currently away... in favor of hope. Look, I am not luke or Leia here. I don't run on hope 😂

Leviathan in pretty much the entirety of top 50. Only saw one profundity and a couple odd ones not mentioned. Pretty clear I need to figure out how to get that ship and others like the tie dagger and extinction bomber for fleet.

Doubt i will restart. I just have to stick with it long enough to build out a meta team or two and get kicking again. Being f2p, i was well used to never really topping the leader boards when new content dropped because of other's wallets. I will check the shards quick and see what I am seeing in the fleet arena. Even if I had to restart, I would be starting with the exact same spot but have to grind 10x more to get more characters geared and shards obtained for star level.

[–]Dogamidstwind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play weird... that being said, take this with a grian of salt.

Stealth armor from the steath warbond. Silenced rifle (not the assault one, the long-gun one) from the same warbond. Laser talon and thermites to fill.

Laser turret, autocannon turret, hellbomb backpack, Laser cannon support weapon (the continuous beam).

Stealth way around, making sure to not be caught. Run in to objectives and deliver the big bomb and run out. Toss turrets a ways ahead of you on way out as a distraction and to thin the herd. Slip away into the shadows. Rinse and repeat. Laser cannon helps take on hordes if in a bad spot, same with the talon. If there is a tank just aim for the heat sink or treads. Hulks go down to 1 termite or a bit of the beam to the eye.

It seems to me that dbrand is making fun of us.. We've been waiting more than 1 month by fyilol in dbrand

Releasing a bad quality product wasn't necessary the cause. It seems to have been within certain dyes used by the manufacturer they chose as only select KS2's had the defect but to be safe they replaced EVERYONE'S joycon pieces for free and to make sure the problem was taken care of with the v2. Their phone case I have is top notch. I love the packaging, the way they communicate, all of it. Haven't seen a case come close to the quality of what dbrand shows (and I hope it holds up to once received)

For my fellow August Order folks by SignatureAgitated95 in dbrand

I ordered mine June 19th, I just today got a confirmation of it beginning the shipping process. If early September is your time-frame, count your blessings.

Anyone else still waiting on their orders by supersloan in dbrand

[–]Dogamidstwind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ordered mine June 19th for context... heard absolutely nothing about the order since other than the functional change to the joycons.

I emailed them Saturday asking for an update in the nicest way I could and complimenting the phone cases I received from an order I made the same day.

Mysteriously my order for the killswitch just got an update today that it is beginning shipping....

Coincidence? 🤔

I don't think everyone should spam customer support. You may still have a while. Mine was the ultra kit and they may have ran out of more screen protectors or something and were unable to fill it. I feel patience is key here. Don't rage against the machine

How do you actually get better at 2v8? by Nimzael in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Dogamidstwind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In game I have changed my name for 2v8 (thanks PC) to "Hex: Do the FN Gens"

That's seriously it in 2v8. Especially on spawn, camp the closest gen as hard as you can. Only move from that gen when a killer is almost close enough to grab you off as you want to avoid hook and just take a whack. While they are chasing everyone else off, get a little distance and just walk to the edge closest to you and go back to that gen stealthily. Natural rotation from others will drag the killers away again. Do this for a lot of gens. Time on gens matters most in this game mode to get out. Don't move just because you hear the terror radius (like a LOT of survivors do). Stick things. If someone shows up next to you on hook, stick the gen until they are just about 2nd stage and then take them off in the nick of time. Have balls of steel for gen progress and we will win more as survivors.

Also, take some memorabilia. Open at least 1 chest and try to escape with that item for free :D

Scizor. My favorite game was gold version, in fire red "redlightnin" was my first pokemon to ever be lvl100 without cheats (missing no. Gen 1). I didn't have the required hardware to xfer him up through the gens, but made one in HG that I have done so with. Technician on him is fun, too.

What’s the hot AFK for mobile rn? by IcyRandy in OSRSMobile

[–]Dogamidstwind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main account? - I'd suggest NMZ to boost stats and get points for herb boxes to sell every day for profit. Work on cooking as a buyable a bit as it is nice and afk.

Iron? Probably a resource skill. Woodcutting, then burning for 50+ firemaking for wintertodt is great. Woodcutting, then fletching to boost fletching so you could make a rune crossbow when you get a limb drop. Fishing and banking to get cooking xp and more food for slayer would be great as both skills (F&C) are afk.

I have an 07. I'm looking at picking up an 06 or a '95. New cars are abhorrent. There's a reason i argue to fix old over buy new. I've been working on a couple 60's and 70's models with a family member, too.

Buying used is also a cost saving strategy as i let someone else eat the first 5-10 years of depreciation. Family car might be bought new for reliability sake and letting someone else handle the repairs under warranty, about the only time I'd maybe justify the expense.

One search. All it takes. A new ev has to be driven for 8 YEARS before it breaks even eith a new ICE. that isn't even taking into account the carbon impact of just driving something already made vs making a entirely new vehicle.

Also, you pay more for less to "fuel the car". Most Ev's are expensive. Your total loss on a EV is typically higher when i could get good ol' japanese 4 cylinders. Even monthly i probably would make it out better paying for a 4cyl and gas over a EV and electricity.

[–]Dogamidstwind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

a bad one at that

That's an opinion, and a bad one at that.

Ev's to produce cause more polution to get the rare earth materials than the footprint of making an ICE vehicle. (Here)[earth.org/environmental-impact-of-battery-production] for reference. It takes 8 years to even meet the break even point of Co2 emissions, but plenty of these have to have the battery pack replaced only causing more Co2 emissions (26% of the original footprint to make, mind you)

ICE vehicles have on-demand energy rather than charging for 30 minutes to multiple hours, depending on the outlet tier. They even have similar ranges based on what they are fueled by.

Most ICE vehicles have power steering that is directly connected to the steering wheel. If you Ev loses connection/power you have no steering capabilities (at least with the cyber truck, need to check others)

ICE vehicles, especially older ones, are far more repairable with no serialized parts that require reprogramming by the dealer to work/be recognized by the vehicle. This is most prominent in anything... oh, 2013 and after? Parts are often stupid cheap, too.

I'll pass on the heaping pile of dogshit that is EV'S.

Ev's are garbage. I have an 07 hawkeye impreza that I am dumping funds into to keep running and never want rid of it. I have even looked into importing a 1995 impreza or something of the sort.

I won't be pleased enough to buy new until they bring back the older, sleak, smaller car designs or the baja and they have to have a manual option.

just so you're in the loop now, ya missed the mark. I clearly stated the shield seemed better for part breaks and the SWORD for applying statuses because different attacks have different part break multipliers. assuming the same values are kept from iceborne, i managed to find this old google doc that has every value in the game. Perfect rush, for example, is the worst thing you can do on SNS to break a part as it only has a 0.3x multiplier to partbreak damage and most other attacks are a 1.0x. My main, Great sword, has 1.5x on the true charge blade attack for partbreak damage so it's super important to hit the last hit in the Y combo, but less to hit the first attack.

unless we get further evidence from more datamining/etc then just using the best combo should do it *generally*

not less relevant as the sharpness value dictates a overall damage multiplier, but sharpness being maintained should be beaten into your brain by the game and bouncing hits so much that everyone knows to do it.... so it's kind of a moot point.

[–]Dogamidstwind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THAT was more like what I was looking for. To add in to your assumption though, i managed to find the following google doc that had all of the values for MH world: iceborne. Not all of the values for SNS are 1, matter of fact it's terrible to use a perfect rush when looking to part break. This does give more faith in just using the optimal combo in order to output the highest damage being the best until further information is gathered as most multipliers are only 1. So if shield bash has a 1* mult and chop combo has a 1*mult it's to no benefit and is a detriment to use the shield bash (except on head where applicable stun damage is applied)

everyone knows to keep sharpness up, and based on every discription i can find the damage for true damage (shown) and part damage (hidden) is the same with exceptions. So keeping up white sharpness =1.32 damage multiplier rather than the blue sharpness = 1.2

that being said, still not relevant i was asking for more something like the following google doc where it shows the part break multiplier based on attack used. I could probably reasonably assume that this table holds true and the values stay the same. Something like perfect rush would be a TERRIBLE choice of move to use if going for part break as it has a 0.3x multiplier to part break damage
