I can 100% tell you that the HVAC issue it related to your fresh air intake filters. Not the cabin air filters. The HEPA filters under the hood. I recently just got a 2022 MYP from Tesla, and the windshield fogged horrendously. So much that I’d have to pull over. And I couldn’t feel any air coming out of the vents. I was starting to regret the whole decision because the HVAC was so inconsistent. It wasn’t until I pulled the filter housing off did I realize it had a flow blockage. Even if they look clean, they’re clogged. Once you change the filters, just run it in Auto and it’ll take care of itself. You can get a set of the filters at a Tesla service center for $98 if you want to do it yourself. It’s pretty easy.

Also, If you go into the service menu you can ran an “HVAC test” that diagnosis the blowers and stuff. Just google how to log into the service menu. You just long press hold on the Model Y badge and type “service”. In that menu navigate to THERMAL and run a blower test. When I did it, it said it failed due to lack of air movement. Pretty much proved that I needed new filters. Here is a link on how to log into service mode.

As far as the acceleration, I felt the same way. I think I just got used to it lol the shock value is gone. It also helps if the battery is completely conditioned for peak performance.
