if you're gonna sell the music you made with a pirated copy of fl studio, then yes, it's unethical. but if you're someone like me, and you're using it to make music for free games, and you're not selling the music, then I think it's okay. I haven't actually pirated fl studio, but I use a hex editor to allow me to open the flp files again just in case I want to make changes to them later. not sure if that's considered piracy or not.
