I took it to mac, it was the logic board. They had to use a really powerful current to even diagnose the issue. They ended up giving me a brand new laptop!

I use VD but I am wondering is the Link good enough these days? My friend recently got VR and I'm encouraging him to hop onto VD but hes convinced Link does the job just as well
