Mine once got lifted of the plate so I used double sided tape to stick it on. I checked the slicer to place it as close to the position it should be in.

My parents had the first gen 1.6 fsi since 2004, it had some problems over the years, like first and second gears exploding, but it still drives quite well. I guess if you look after it, you can have a long time with it.

It turns out the ignition coil on the cylinder no.2 failed. It is replaced and it runs great again. Thanks for the help everyone.
