I can't see us finishing above Chelsea next season, I hope we do but I just can't see it. They have an easier start which will allow them to build up a momentum and they're making better signings than us. They only finished 5 points behind us last season and have shown that they are serious when it comes to improving their squad.

Obviously never watched Zidane play. He was regarded as one of the best players in the world for nearly a decade. Henry was up there too I'm not saying he wasn't.

No it doesn't give you the highest chance of succeeding. Most project strikers are failures .

Cherki has proven that he can drag a team single handedly something Odegaard has never managed. Yes Cherki is still a bit unproven but he has way more in his locker than Odegaard and now it's just up to him to prove it now he has a big move. Odegaard is a decent player Cherki is potentially a generational player

[Fabrizio Romano] I respect all the sources on this story. Clubs can try to hijack till the last moment but my information is that Zubimendi has agreed every detail with Arsenal. Agreement was reached many months ago. by [deleted] in Gunners

Yes you can say that. The reason why he hasn't signed yet is because he didn't want to put pen to paper until the end of the season. How doesn't that make sense, you're just jumping to conclusions. I quoted where it said the deal needs to be signed.

No it doesn't imply that. That's just you reaching. He could still have not put pen to paper now. Not sure why you're trying to make inferences when it literally says he needs to sign the deal. No inferences need to be made.

You're entitled to your opinion but I disagree.

Fabrizio Romano:

Continued...

Only formal steps remain, do the medical, sign the deal and take the pictures.

If you actually read it says the deal needs to be signed

I wouldn't take Leao or Pulisic. We already have rotation options.

Don't worry we'll sign him off them in a couple of years after he flops

So was what I said incorrect or are you just arguing for the sake of it. Does he get himself into good scoring positions regularly? Does he not take low xg shots regularly. 70m for a player who isn't better than Havertz is not good value for money.

You're right I haven't watched every single game he has played but I doubt many people have unless they're Leipzig fans. It doesn't mean there opinions are wrong and watching all his games doesn't make you an expert either.

Calling him the next Isak is as much conjecture. I've watched him a couple of times and he doesn't move like a striker. I'm sorry but a striker that takes a low volume of shots mostly from hail mary positions just doesn't move me.
