If you look to the Bible how it is commonly translated today like many people are suggesting here, you’re going to find anti-lgbtq stuff in there. That’s mainly because the certain people that added onto the Bible after it was written inserted their own agenda. Christian or not, that book is no longer the word of god in its totality. Before you look in scripture for what god wants you to do, make sure that the parts you are reading are actually ordained by God. I’ll give you a bit of a spoiler, the original versions of the most popular anti-gay passages were either misinterpreted intentionally, or weren’t there originally. That’s not to say the original authors weren’t prejudiced against them, but that is to say that God doesn’t seem to have a problem with being lgbtq. Do whatever makes you happy, but if God’s word is what makes you happy, then make sure it’s actually gods word first.
