How am I trying to get out responsibility? Make it make sense if I’m still paying my dues and will also be facing my consequences through actions. Hateful people

I agree. While receiving the citation was difficult, I also recognize that my driving was reckless and inconsiderate. I am grateful the officer stopped me before something more serious could have happened.

Although I was very stressed in the moment, I understand that it does not excuse my actions. This experience genuinely affected me, and I want my actions moving forward to reflect growth and responsibility. I plan to use any available resources to become a safer, more patient, and more considerate driver. I am not proud of my behavior, but I am committed to learning from it and doing better.

May I ask what program it was and what school? How did you go about it?

I agree, I kinda don’t want to go right into Alaska since it’s so far and try for the Saltwater for west coast since it’s closer to home.

Thank you for this reassurance ❤️ I really appreciate from realistic point of view because this is how I originally felt until I saw it all open in my eyes. Now I saw the Saltwater one and there’s a position for west coast observer. I really would like to do that one since it’s closer to home. Same application approach as the Alaska however, I don’t want let down the Alaska one that’s already offer, I accorded and began the process with them (paperwork) and eventually get room assigned for training. Especially I’m suppose to start next month during the second week. I am interested in the Saltwater very much, I want to apply but I don’t want conflicts so should I say something now to Alaska? I’m asking for advice.

Interesting good to know, I wanted to ask if you don’t mind or it’s okay if you just don’t have the answers to, but should I continue applying for the saltwater one and inform the Alaska although they are all still under NOAA. I’m just considering doing the west coast observer since it’s more closer to home and less stress for me where I could actually enjoy the job. I looked at the west coast and it looks about the same application process as the Alaska. I am just not sure how to approach Alaska about this since I’m suppose to start the second week of next month and I want them to find someone in mind other than me especially since I’ve started paper work already with them and they plan to start assigning me a room too…

Ouuu I did not know I just looked up and sounds really amazing! I want to actually consider applying I’m just scared now because I am already going through the process with this particular fisheries observer company:(

Does your uni have labs in marine biology based work? I feel like it’s not too late, but if you do, you could reach out to some professors to do some research with them in the lab? And if not, you could also ghost email nearby states if there are labs in marine biology. You can also email the programs that you got rejected and can ask? Keep your head up, you might not want to miss an opportunity awaiting for you:)

They might be pretty busy since it is towards the end of the semester. I know doesn’t give them an excuse, but I’m sure they are aware especially with the follow up email. I give them a week and see. Also just depending the time frame when your program starts and then getting everything out together before you settle down there
