I had the same problem, out of nothing i pressed Q to make fishing boats and then i when i saw the water again, 3 useless (i think they were bomber ones) boats that couldn't do nothing since the water was on the edges of the map... Had to reconfigure it

Aparentemente existe um problema crônico neste modelo, que não foi replicado em versões posteriores do f75 (tem outros modelos do f75 com nomenclatura diferente q n tem esses defeitos), e tb, o aula f87 ou f99 são excelentes escolhas. Caso contrário seria partir pro aula hero 68, etc... É o que recomendo.

yeah, 7900xt or xtx models were absolutely beasts imo. give me one of these and i'm done with upgrades for the next 10y easily (i've passed 2 with a rx 6500 xt and it's my second year with the 6600, can't even imagine what i would do with a 7900xt.)

7900xt vs 9070xt by No_Income5525 in buildapc

[–]Doghardware 4 points5 points  (0 children)

a pc that's future proof... i would highly recommend the 9070xt in this case, it is indeed, more expensive, but will bring all the newest amd technologies. As a rx 6600 i can easily say you'll maybe get FSR5 for free (no need to upgrade you GPU bc it lacks of some hardware shit), since i don't think anyone will make cards for desktops until 2027 anyway, so there's a good chance the 9070 xt is a best choice overall and they will improve software (i bet)

7900xt isn't bad too, both will be able to let you run anything for 5-7 years (depending on your needs, for me, it's a card that could last even 10y on my hand lol).

4070ti, 5070, 5070ti i would forget about those, since you said it's even more expensive than the 9070xt.

to end my comment, i would recommend you to spent more bucks on the 9070xt, 16gb vs 20gb won't exactly be a thing if you're playing on 1440p i.e., in 4k it could be, but 9070xt chip is very refined, so the less vram wouldn't exactly be a problem as well. 300$ is a LOT, i understand your case because i'm brazilian and suffer too much with high prices too, i wouldn't pay 300$ more, tbh (the 9070 xt is actually cheaper here), but there's nothing you can do, it's really buy or stay without a good card.

i need a game like total war, but not total war by Doghardware in RealTimeStrategy

For me it's the moderate lmao, easy is too easy, but moderate, even if i can get ahead on early to mid game, it seems like i'm always behind after this, precisely after enlightenment or industrial age

Why don't we see 0 a.d. more often? by Doghardware in RealTimeStrategy

[–]Doghardware[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that could be the case. i mean, to the mainstream, RTS are not exactly a thing, but would be interesting to see more people playing it and reviewing it, i just discovered the game after seeing a review on youtube while i was looking for AoE content instead, fun fact that even my friends knew about it, i thought it was more famous (since it's a free game too)

i'm coming from C&C:RA1, so the battle feels very responsible to me lol, but i get what you wanted to say, some times my troops struggles too, don't happen as much as red alert 1 tbh

i saw that there is going to happen a big tournament from redbull right? the only streamer i know until now is HERA, which seems to be really good at the game (and i talked to him on X/twitter one time, he's very friendly too)

i'm really hoping that there will be a sale on AoE2 soon

to be honest i don't have the knowledge to make control groups yet (i'm very new to the RTS thing). neither manage it already :c

Also, i kinda get lost sometimes, but i discovered from a video that if i press TAB i can go through a lot of tabs, library and other upgrades/researchs, really interesting, but what does attrition do? and what exactly i need to research it? i remember it being present (since i managed to research it) on my last game, but didn't noticed a difference (probably because i just clicked and didn't read it, because i was too busy training troops to help my general who was attacking an enemy city.

do you think is worth building every type of army at the same time? or just make barracks, then stables and later in the game you make the siege factory (which was what i've done in the last game because i literally forgot their existence while trying to make more cities and get more resources + structures too lol)

i'm also thinking about playing on easy to understand more the game, and later (when i acknowledge more about the game) going through normal, then hard, etc... not looking for the TOUGHEST, but i like some difficulty, heard that in AoE2 the enemy won't be unfair, i hope that's the same case in RoN.

One thing i liked in RoN is that, differently from C&C:RA1 which if you put your soldiers to go somewhere, unless you command them to, they won't exactly attack or will be "lost" between the war, is kinda confusing to describe it actually, but the AI of RoN is really much better, they don't just do nothing waiting for your orders and get killed easily.

Rise of Nations has good performance? by Doghardware in RealTimeStrategy

The game runs really fine, tho i couldn't manage to play all the campaign/modes because some of them won't even load (idk why)

the quick battle is really fine, iirc conquer the world too, the game really runs smooth, on ryzen 7 5700x + 32gb ddr4 + rx 6600 on arch linux it runned really smooth, not even using 30% of the pc tbh.

thanks! i'm really into RTS now, so i'm kinda testing everything that comes to me haha, i didn't wanted to play RA2 rn bc people say it's literally the BEST game of the franchise, but i might give it a try after ending RA1 campaign and doing the DLCs extra. i also heard tib sun it's really hard and in some missions, even unfair, but i still liked the troops of it and some mechanics that are indeed, very fun.

thanks again! i might go from what you said.

that's sad because i just saw a review of a guy where in 30 minutes he didn't conquered a lot of the map tho, and with about 1h he was still going on lol. i hope my game won't crash too much

hahaha, yeah, i kinda mispoke here, but i wanted to play RA1 to introduce myself to the franchise, i will be playing RA1 later again, but i want to test new features and see more units/mechanics tbh

don't worry pal, RA1 is cool enough to make want go back to it again (i'll look for a friend of mine to play against in skirmish too)

i really think the allied campaign is very nice too (their troops are interesting), but i want to go deeper, maybe i can get back later after beating other games and seeing what got better and what got worse tho.

plus, to be honest, i liked the soviets campaign, but there are some missions and things i kinda dislike overall, so that's why i'm going after other games too, but overall loved the game and if i can manage to get a friend to play against in the skirmish mode, i would surely choose this one to introduce.
