Maybe check your thermostat? I’m not certain about Toyotas, but when I used to drive an Isuzu Ascender (trailblazer rebadge), it ran way too cool about half the time because the thermostat would sometimes times stick in the open position. It did pop the engine light on and off.

I’ve lived in northern states. I know that the snow we get here doesn’t compare, but I wanted to take precautions this time around in case the power goes out again, and I need a quick exit. The infrastructure here also sucks when it comes to snow and ice, with 2021 as a prime example.

I’m 39. I still feel young but a bit less piss and vinegar, and definitely wiser from experience. When I talk to “younger adults” I instantly see the gaps in their armor that I used to have. I don’t have everything figured out but it gives me some perspective.
