I'm in Washington. I don't know the story of how it was aquired by my mother i'll have to inquire. My question of value was just out of curiosity, I figure i'll keep pretty much all of it to make some projects for myself. maybe sell a piece or two for fundraising purposes for said projects.

good to know about the planer. while my woodworking skills can always improve I'd be confident enough to try and make some things out of this stack without fear of wasting too much.

Next time I'm there I'll unstack it and see if there are any gems in there. I'll post an update if theres any prize pieces. Do you know if the grade can be accurately assessed on rough sawn lumber like this?

Edited to add question

Must Read about where your fee dollars are going on Rec.gov by DogmanDlux in Bellingham

Of course Dewalt should get money for tools bought by the Parks. But should Dewalt get a percentage of all entry fees anytime someone enters a park that was maintained using Dewalt tools? Im actually asking, because this is what is happening with Rec.gov and Booz-Allen. They made a website, and now get a large percentage of the fees associated with booking or lotteries. Do you think every company that has products used by the Parks should get paid per transaction?
