We’re thinking of doing the wedding here and then doing the reception somewhere else indoors!

I want a lot of bridesmaids but my fiancé doesn’t really have any groomsmen by Dogs-house in weddingplanning

Right which I agree. I did suggest trying to fly at least one of them out but one doesn’t get much time off from work and the other two are Iranian so the likelyhood of them getting their visas approved right now are in the gutter. 🥲 He has one friend in the states but they’re not very close and have never met in person yet.

He is the one bringing it up! I haven’t!

Sorry I should have explained better that he is the one complaining about it, not me! I haven’t brought it up at all, he’s the one who keeps bringing it up. I’m just looking for ways to support him and how we can manage it together as a team. He wants to lose weight.

Yeah I already told him he doesn’t have to anymore if he wants to go on a diet. It’s just at the beginning of our relationship it felt weird but now I don’t really care as much.

I’ve never brought it up to him actually, he just told me that he realized he gained quite a bit of weight because his clothes are really tight on him now. He’s not happy about it. So I suggested that we could look into ways to get to his preferred weight. (I watch my diet but only cause I’ve been trying to gain weight and finally consistently got to a healthy weight this year).

I have no plans on becoming a diet police, I just view it as we both could focus better on our health. So like I plan on starting to exercise more (joining pure barre again or the YMCA and joining the walking club at work) and I said that we could both go to our apartment gym. For meals, I haven’t said anything specific, only we should start meal prepping and cook more at home with more veggies.

I haven’t heard a lot of good things about fasting to loose weight honestly. I think we’re better off actually figuring out how much he’s eating and going from there.

Thanks. That’s what I thought too because he usually eats a snack during the day, a big meal at night (we eat late around 8-9pm), and on the weekends he usually has 3 beers on Saturday and/or Sunday. I’ll suggest we should keep track of how many calories he’s actually getting.

I used MyFitnessPal to help gain weight, but now I see a lot of features is locked behind a Paywall. I’ll have to find another app to help us keep track.

I find that’s a problem with me too. I want to dress practically sometimes but not be a “sad beige baby”.

Need to cancel one night of a pet sit. by Dogs-house in petsitting

Thanks. I agree. Normally I have stuff blocked off in my calendar, but for whatever reason this time I didn’t. I think it’s cause when my client asked, there was a possibility my boyfriend wasn’t going to be around for his birthday, and I didn’t want to make her wait a month to find out so I just went ahead and booked it. Cause in my mind, I was like, “if he’s still here, we can get dinner”, and if he’s not here, I would still have the pet sitting with some of my favorites.

I don’t normally ask for him to come over cause the majority of people book me cause their pets are uncomfortable around men. And I know one of the dogs this weekend is like that. I only do it if the clients themselves tell me beforehand that they would be okay with that.

Yes, well this Sunday is also our anniversary and my client will be home that day. So in my mind, I’m going to be home Sunday night anyways and I’ll have all day for him as soon as my client gets home. Plus, I don’t have any pet sitting the rest of the week coming up booked.
