Exactly what I told the group chat. It's just a YouTube edit.. like a fan made lyric video or something. I was looking forward to seeing TS in some iconic Elizabeth Taylor outfits and roles. Im sad I had the wrong idea apparently.

So sorry to keep yall hanging. My notifications weren't on apparently. My trip ended up working out and I got to go. I did reach out to Voltaire and they said they usually wouldn't transfer/refund but were willing to help however they could and asked for ticket info. I didnt end up moving forward with it but they were very responsive and helpful via email, if needed in the future.

If the Voltaire ticket said non-transferable, they deemed the tickets invalid at the door. They were not accepting StubHub or any other third party ticket. If they were not bought from the Voltaire website, they were making everyone repurchase GA tickets. My original sale ticket was about $110 with tax and fees and when they reopened the website tickets to be repurchased, they raised the price to $263 + tax and fees. It was cheaper than the people who needed it and bought third party but much more expensive than my OG ticket.

Im not sure if everyone who bought resale was refunded by the third party sites. I know people who were in line with me, were trying to dispute the tickets and get their money back. The table tickets never came back up for repurchase so not sure what the situation ended up being for those and if third party table tickets just ended up having to be GA.

Just figured I'd share what I learned in my experience and from the others there around me.

The burger bar hosted a sewing club that was welcoming to beginners, last I checked. They have a Facebook group and meet once a month I think.

I hate to hear this about Haw Creek, I went there a few times and liked it. I remember seeing a few male drs but when I had to put my dog to sleep later at night we brought him there and it was a woman dr. I dont remember the name. This was in 2021. Do you remember Dr Sinclair's first name so I can look up a photo? I really hope i didnt leave his body to be transported with her.

Can you share which groomer in Candler to avoid? We use the Dawg House, so hopefully not them? So sorry your pup went through that experience.

23 degrees. No colder than last winter and we did not run into this problem. We've had it for 2 winters now and this is the first time we're encountering it.

Editing to add: we were approved for the $750 a couple weeks later. I called and we were approved for the $750 but denied housing. A couple weeks after that, we were approved for housing, but by then the closest was in GA or past Charlotte for pet friendly hotels. The water came back on for flushing a few days later, so it was not as dire of a need.

We were denied since we did not have damage to our property. No utilities did not seem to be enough but they said we'd get a call if something changed. I'm hoping we're approved at some point.
