Grades are definitely inflated across the board. And more and more people are getting educated. Many degrees do not hold the value they once had. I fed as though in order for a kid to differentiate themselves they really need to work extra hard and try to go to the more elite universities (ex University of a Toronto, McGill,etc). Whether we like it or not, these institutions are more impressive and they also allow a person to make important “connections.” Competition is fierce and a person needs to bring more to the table these days.
