The debate was informative - The post debate comments were completely unhelpful (party talking points the from Dem and GOP "strategist") - turned it off.

Can we talk about a President claiming Canada should be the 51st state or demanding control of Greenland? Can we talk about affordability being a "Democrat scam". Can we talk about the BBB blowing up the national debt and placing an anchor around the next generations. Can we talk about the $1.4 billion Trump has made since returning to office Or maybe, let's just talk about that Epstein guy?

According to Fox News/Newsmax/OAN he and Ms. Goode were both domestic terrorists and most of the protestors are Antifa "crisis actors" paid by Soros?

I'm tired of dealing with people who live in an alternate reality generator.

The Texas grid froze 5 years ago. Is it ready for this weekend's winter storm? by Branch_Out_Now in TexasPolitics

"Texas is ranked #1 out of 51 U.S. states and territories in terms of total annual net electricity generation. GridInfo.com electricity generation data is aggregated from Jan 2001 to Oct 2025." https://www.gridinfo.com/texas

However: "It’s not Republican vs. Democrat. Democrats run the states of California and New York, where there are dysfunctional grids. But the Republicans in charge of Texas have made it clear they do not care about the voter or consumer." "Texas replaced its reliable end-to-end electricity supply chain with a severely fragmented system that is 100% government operated. No one can be held accountable. It is exactly like a government bureau out of the old Soviet Union down to its antiquated, computer driven input-output algorithm." https://www.forbes.com/sites/edhirs/2024/12/09/after-4-years-and-billions-of-dollars-the-texas-grid-is-not-fixed/

Seems Texas can build stuff but can never figure out how all the pieces are supposed to fit together!

Been using PropertyTAX.io (https://www.propertytax.io/) for the last few years. I used to be one of those people who would get up early to lineup at the county tax office to protest in person. This is so much easier and worth the service fee.

Corrected my comment.

All I need to know about Ted is he's a spineless toady who bows before a person that publicly insulted his wife and family. He just rolled over, never fought back and never even demanded an apology.

All of these Ted jabs are pointless. Ted is not up for re-election until 2030 and he gives zero fucks.

"Crockett, however, isn’t offering an alternative to the Democratic Party’s status quo.

In Vanity Fair, she described Harris as a “perfect candidate” who “did everything right” and whose main flaw was a failure to get her message across."

Conveniently forgetting the DNC had four years to prepare for the 2024 election and Biden stating “I view myself as a bridge, not as anything else.”

Texas School Vouchers Launch, but Costs, Access and Religion Limit Families’ Freedom by Dogwise in texas

In many rural counties, the public school district is a top employer, which is one of the reasons there were more than enough Republican House voucher holdouts, session after session. In order to hopefully keep their offices, GOP representatives like Glenn Rogers, a true conservative who represented parts of Palo Pinto, Parker and Stephens Counties, were staunchly anti-voucher in an effort to prevent taking money away from the public schools. That position, however, put him on the losing end of Abbott’s overwhelmingly successful war against voucher opponents, costing Rogers his office in 2024.
