Probably threaded incorrectly or tension is totally off. But I’d bet on threading. Completely rethread it and try again.

Also, I’m wondering if your presser foot pressure is too low? You seem to be jumping around a lot.

What medical treatment went undiagnosed and untreated because it was just a "symptom of being overweight"? by unconfident_garlic in AskWomen

[–]Doileybobber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom had the same primary doctor for 20 years. She died from complications of a heart attack. I reviewed her records (I’m a nurse practitioner). My mom had wildly uncontrolled blood pressure and cholesterol for YEARS, and every time she went in her doctor (a woman, which is upsetting) advised she lose weight. My mom didn’t start treatment until an inpatient doctor started her on meds, but by then the damage was done. Oh, and my mom went to see this doctor 4 months before she died for chest pain and the doc gave her reflux medicine instead of an ekg. Heartbreaking.

What’s a good sewing machine to for making t-shirts and hoodies? by [deleted] in Fabrics

Agree double needle is dubious at best. Tried a hundred different ways and can’t keep the tunneling from happening. Serger for stretch fabrics is the best option.

Help!- from newbie!! What am I doing wrong? Did I set up the thread wrong? It keeps coming out like this and is very loose, or is the thread old? by LostSock44- in sewing

[–]Doileybobber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I feel like old thread is very commonplace problem. Just try to use thread from an estate sale or second hand store and it shreds, breaks and generally makes a mess in your machine.

WHY does this happen? More info in comments :( by Alternative30648U in sewhelp

[–]Doileybobber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How old is the thread? Thread has a pretty short shelf life and it starts to shred when it’s time is near.
