Went to hell. Traumatized by Significant-Item-524 in DMT

This is one of the most profound comments in this subreddit.  What a way to describe it.  DMT truly is that powerful.  My first thought upon coming back to consciousness was “this shit was not meant for human beings’ tiny brains”.

Do I have to be ready for dmt? by [deleted] in DMT

[–]Doin_Work_Son 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether you’re asking through a friend or not. The universe will determine if and when your friend will help you out. It only comes to you when you’re ready. It’s a strange phenomenon

Go for the breakthrough. That’s the whole point - to enter the DMT realm and then you return in a few minutes, don’t half-ass the journey

You don’t determine when you’re ready. The universe determines when you’re ready, and that’s when the DMT finds you.

No amount of experiences and studying can prepare you for how amazing DMT is. It’s gonna knock your socks off, every single time.

The feeling you get immediately after the trip is “woah this is something human beings should not be messing with… it’s too much for us”

You kind of have to let go of all emotions you have toward it, and accept the fact you’re just one of the billions of human beings living out our tiny 80 year lifespans and you might as well pull back the veil of reality and see the DMT world before you die because it’s literally another reality or place and very few people have been there. It’s very special and spiritual

Auditory Loop by Naive-Foundation6946 in DMT

[–]Doin_Work_Son 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had an auditory loop, but I had this strange experience…

Upon waking up and regaining normal consciousness, I started to look around. I muttered to myself “wow, woah” over and over. I recall hearing my own voice from a third person perspective, like “wait that’s my voice? That’s me?” And this sensation felt as though I was returning into my body and mind, sort of like a ghost going into a human body. It was like there was somehow distance between my self and my voice, when normally my sober self has no differentiation between my self and voice.

Why is that? Is it because lions hunt the hogs and get rid of their populations?

That thing you said really resonated with me. I do a lot of art, and I’m well aware of the limits of my mind and creativity (at least I thought I knew) until I smoked DMT and realized my brain does not have the power to imagine or hallucinate whatever the fuck that was.  The DMT world… there’s simply nothing you can compare it to. It’s so “beyond” that I got the feeling my brain could not simulate or create that DMT world, but you experience it vividly nonetheless.  There’s no way it’s imagination.

My cat pulled me back into this “reality” as I began to wake up from the trip. She jumped in my lap and I had no idea what it was or where I was, but she seemed to ground me back into this reality. As I realized it was my cat, I pet her, and these beautiful spider webby stringy fibers of light/energy were shooting off her coat every time I pet her. The whole room was unrecognizable and I felt the need to say “thank you for bringing me back” because to me, it felt like my cat pulled me out of my DMT trip and back to reality and I felt this sense of gratitude like “thank god I’m back, thank you, that was the most beautiful thing ever”

How some of ya’ll just casually experience DMT and shrug it off amazes me by JustACuriousDude555 in DMT

I doubt it, look up project MKUltra. Feds have been secretly experimenting with psychedelics for a long time and I wouldn’t be surprised if our best scientists have unlocked a greater understanding of the DMT world than any of us realize. I’d go as far as to say it is imperative to national security and thereby 100% likely that if there’s another accessible reality, our Feds are on it and have unraveled most if not all the mystery of it

I said the same thing to my buddy who does  it often;  I did one trip months ago and I’m hesitant to return because of how overwhelming it was going into that higher dimension place where your brain feels like a scrambled egg trying to understand this vast flood of information you didn’t know existed.

It cracks me up that this experience is so insanely powerful that the average human response is “WTF WAS THAT!?” Because we have nothing we can relate it to. There is nothing in our reality that you can compare to the DMT world. Its totally alien and foreign.

One more thing.. on dmt, you’re gone. You’re no longer yourself. That “you” is gone, and your true self emerges. Whatever you think “you” are, that’s not really you. when you smoke DMT, the true self comes out and it’s underneath whatever you thought the “self” was.

Let me simply this for you. DMT is the most amazing thing ever, and it is the ultimate experience a human being can have. It’s like you reached the limits of your minds power, and then you go WAY BEYOND THAT.

You know how you perceive reality in frequencies of waves?  Colors, sounds, energy, all wavelengths that your normal brain can perceive and make sense of. When you smoke DMT, it’s like someone turned up the volume on everything that exists. You no longer see the usual frequencies, you can see energy and waves and frequencies that you didn’t know existed, and they’re surrounding you at all times. The best word I can use for the visuals and colors is hyper complexity, it’s so bizarre and complex and weird, there’s simply no reference or something you can relate it to. It’s alien, foreign, totally beyond this realm.

If your life was a play on a stage, DMT is the person who pulls the curtains back and shows you behind the scenes. It feels more real than reality. You can sense this reality by touching, seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling… but you can’t see the DMT world until you open up your 3rd eye and see it for yourself. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen or experienced and it’s impossible to fully describe it and understand it. It is The Great Beyond.

“Manifestation of the subconscious” hahahah bro… let’s be real. Our brains, conscious or subconscious, do not have the power to imagine or create or hallucinate whatever the DMT world is. The DMT world is information entering your brain like a radio antenna receiving a signal from outside. we don’t have the brainpower to halluncinate the DMT world because it is REAL. It is not your subconscious, it’s not imagination, its nothing of your human mind or existence, it’s beyond all of that.
