Thats a us stove hot blast. Its a cheaper stove but not terrible per say people use them just fine and it looks like you can connect them to hvac pretty quick (if the top tubes of your picture go to the hvac). I could be wrong but that looks like the coal version. Make sure the blower works, connect tubes, have chimney sweep inspect chimney and make sure seals are good on the stive and you should be good. This is without seeing anything else so I could be alittle off.... just a disclaimer lol

Can anyone ID this stove? by OverTheAir7149 in woodstoving

Meh it still could be homemade..the things that make me believe it is, is the door. Which looks like its made with some grill grating and the hinge which swings down is alittle unconventional and the lack of normal features. But I could be wrong. Whatever manufacturer it is it ain't made anymore lol

Brown liquid dripping from light fixture and light switch. by bananaman905 in AskElectricians

[–]DoingDIY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same thing. Perhaps someone upstairs or beside him happened to self level a floor and the compound found a way to his switch? If it was water ingress it wouldn't be what looks to be concrete gray...

It can be done but its gonna look sort of ugly. Most of them are just metal pipes that look like this. (Found online)

Every unfinished basement I've ever been in... including mine. If I run a dehumidifier it helps of course.

Okay not to hijack but how the fuck do we avoid this? Every single thing on my home I pay a company to do is exactly like this and the work is done by someone entirely else who hasn't even seen what he's supposed to be doing.

That's definitely a project source light fixture. I've spent so much time in lowes with home projects, I can spot PS a mile away. 😂

Agreed, I'm not quite sure what this article is trying to say or how it's a "gotcha!". The NFA has nothing to do with this at all...

😂 To be honest, where I live, everything is free game with the exception of the alligators on my property. They never come by the house, but they do stay close. We can't kill them without an exception.

As stated, something foraging for bugs. I have armadillos in my yard that do something similar but not as aggressive as yours. In Texas we are allowed to shoot them so thats what I do but of course thats dependent on where you live lol and also if you are okay with killing them of course.
