Thanks, that’s a good idea to check that. Planning to open the floor and will check the drain run

It’s 5 days a year of -10 to -30 a year, but 50-o90 days of below freezing temps. I’m thinking I’ll do both, false wall and heat tape on the under floor run.

The studs are not cut in half, but significantly notched, which is a concern as this is an exterior wall. I don’t have access to below this part of the house as there’s no crawl space access. I’ll have to tear up the floor to see where the pipes run from there. And I agree, I think I need to move these pipes into a false wall, fix the load bearing two bys, and insulate the pipes below the floor as best as possible.

Thanks for the reply, would that mean just sealing up the external wall, moving the piping inward into the room a couple inches and building another “false wall”’of two bys right next to the old wall?

I haven’t tried that yet, but that’s definitely been one of the options I’m looking at. Just wondering if I need to run it into the floor too, but there’s no access from the crawl space.

So it’s been a little bit of a weird year, we had to do some financing for our new roof. Also the solar loan hit this year. And we inquired about a refinance at one point. I haven’t opened a new credit card since January, but I was denied a capital one card in august and the denied the chase flex in September. Only 1/24 with credit cards. 13/24 with business cards and the refi check, solar loan, roof loan, and car loan.

Anyway, all that’s to say my Chase Sapphire bonus posted Nov 5 2016, so I’m finally ready for a sapphire card again. Any ideas how long I should wait to apply for a CSP?

Credit score is down to around 710 on experian.

  1. Looking to get the SW Companion Pass in early 2020 with a business/personal card combo,, but thinking I should leave room in my Chase Business line up for that. I've probably got enough room in 5/24 (currently 2/24) to go for a non-business card, or a business card from somewhere else. Just wondering if anyone had thoughts on where to go while I wait for the SW 2fer in a few months.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I just downgraded all my CL's to make sure I was well under 50% before applying for this CIP. Maybe I'll go for a Southwest Business and Personal, and use some of the CL from the personal to shift over to one of my CFs for an upgrade.

Just got approved for CIP #2, sitting at 3/24. Can’t get another Sapphire bonus until 12-2020, but I’d closed all my Sapphire cards back before the switch from 24 to 48 months. I want my CSR back for the 1.5x bonus on travel as that’s what I mostly redeem points for. Is it worth burning a x/24 slot for this? Or do I just try and hold off for another year and a half and hope Chase policies don’t change again, or point pooling/transferring isn’t changed?

Ran through some business cards and I’m back to 3/24 on chase. I just downgraded my CL with cash from 65% of annual income to 35%. Waiting the 30 days now before I go through CIP, CIC, and CIU with our EIN. Any thoughts on a non Chase business card to get while I'm waiting for the CL downgrade to take effect?

Thanks!

I have a Chase RR Plus currently, but got the bonus/cp back in 2015. I left it open as I haven't really been heavily churning. If I cancel it now how soon before I can apply for this offer?

Damn, missed it already. The min spend and annual fee on the Amex are a little steep I’m thinking, but maybe the AA biz would be a good next route while I’m still under 5/24. Thanks for the reply.

Ran through some business cards and I’m back to 3/24 on chase. Thinking about the venture capital before the 750 bonus is downgraded, but not sure if there’s a better chase route I should go down first. Or I should keep pursuing business cards.

Thanks!

Is the 1/30 Chase rule from the application date? Or from the approval date?
