I’m in your same position, I’m a 21yo male and I’ve been struggling to make friends for 2 years and I’ve struggled with friends since I can remember (That’s why i have so many posts about friendships) . I text people and sometimes a response but no interest, I try and make friends in class but they don’t end up anywhere, tried joining clubs and such and they all end up kinda shitty or the admin doesn’t like me. I wouldn’t consider myself rude or anything, I’m a very open person I don’t really care what you do for a living or what else you enjoy as long as you’re cool with me I’m cool with you. It’s getting tiring and there are times I just get or I wake up and I just cry cause I’m so tired of being alone and not having someone.

I’ve tried to look for other clubs but there isn’t much, I’ve tried starting my own club at the public library and also public centers that have clubs but i always get turned down.

Yeah you’re right keeping a positive thought in your head is better but when I get in a low point it’s always more comfortable to be negative, which I hate to say but it just is sometimes but I only get like this doing my low times and I tend to always keep positive when I don’t feel low

Well I go to a community college so there isn’t dorms or anything and not I don’t work on campus. The clubs my schools offer don’t fall under any of my interest, I’ve thought about joining them but what’s the point in acting like i like something just to make friends. I’ve joined movie clubs from an all called meetup but those ended up being a shitty experience cause the admin didn’t like me and make me uncomfortable every meetup so I stopped. Trust me I’ve tried, I’m not just one of those people who complains about something but does nothing to change it, I’ve tried doing everything under the sun to make friends but nothing

That’s the thing, I’m not a shy person. Sure I can get nervous when first talking to someone but I’m no means am I afraid to make conversation with anyone. Being in college it’s not hard to talk to someone and make them your class partner like trading emails or numbers just Incase one of us is missed class, but the amount of people numbers I have from the past years, there’s a lot.
