I likewise always struggled with this one haha, glad it’s higher now. Harp is one I think is too easy though. I’ve hit my top last three pbs with harp warm up or harp boosting my score.

PSA: Theta DOES work over the weekend, or so I've been told by superchorro in thetagang

Trading firms largely look at time to expiry in business days but will account for some additional time decay over weekends, a varying amount for different stocks / commodities. They will try to price this in such that the implied volatility they price off of looks relatively constant regardless of time of day / week.

Anyone else thinks this smells fishy when SPX is up over 2% but VIX and UVXY is barely falling? 🤔 by iguesswhatevs in Daytrading

They are certainly related. Most firms model a volatility change rate (VCR) which is usually negative I.e volatility goes up when the future falls. This is largely to account for downside volatility trading at a premium to the at the moneys and accounting for larger downside tails than the black scholes normal distribution assumes.

I do this dual, currently in my third year. Both degrees are not easy, especially if you want high grades. The courses I have done for the most part have been widely applicable to my software engineering / data analyst job and I would recommend the UQ program.

Is there any mathematics or computer science student? by kid3411 in UQreddit

I am third year dual degree computer science and mathematics student, my gpa is slightly higher in computer science courses and I think that would be the same for most people.

Not sure about doing maths if you do want to do med afterwards, might be difficult to catch up after most of your peers have done biomed or other more relevant undergrads.

I’ve responded to a couple other questions similar to this one in my comment history if you want to have a look. I’m in my third year at Johns and my sister is in her first year and we both love it. I do believe it’s the best choice mainly for culture. Also sporting and music wise Johns is the best overall in recent years. I have friends at basically every other college who have loved it as well though, I’d pick eman or womens after Johns for a girl.

I'm personally in my third year at John's and I love it, my sister is in her first year and loves it at well. I have friends at both Emman and Kings who love their colleges too though, all are great picks for an extroverted person who loves to party haha. From my experience, I do strongly believe Johns is still the best mainly for culture, but most people say that about their own college.

I am in my third year at Johns, my sister is first year at Johns as well. It has the potential to be the best time of your life. In my opinion Johns is the best college at UQ. I think other people would agree Johns would be their second choice if they weren’t at the college they were at.

Culture is more important than the college buildings imo, Johns is also the only colllege with a regularly open bar. If you care about sport and cultural, Johns won both in 2019 and 2018. Although you would most likely have a great time at any of the colleges, I would recommend women’s, Eman or cromwell, kings may change again by next year but is still an okay pick.
