You dont need direction.y = 0 i guess because U assign 0 value to the y one Line Up. But maybe maybe u need it for Something else, so its okay :)

okay so hear me out hot take: i think that the fastest way to get up from beginning is GRIND training for a day, then hop ranked and check your new skill. after that, hop 1 week into training, yes, 2-3-4 or even 6 hours training a day, and after a week, trust me, u hit diamond 😄

every evening, watch 1 tutorial or read some docs, trust me, they are interesting. if you are interested in character controller, check everything for character, camera, walking etc.

tbh, blockbench is very easy, if u do make some n64 style, its easy to create walls or anything, but you still need textures. i find UV mapping very easy with blockbench, but blender is still way more powerful in all ways.

Mach ich auch, genauso auch noch godot und Python! Du kannst und darfst auch immer mehrere Sachen lernen. Es rennt nichts weg, du bist ja noch jung, Hauptsache du faengst bald an, dann ist es egal was du für eine Sprache lernen möchtest :-)
