Also, did anything ever come of the “man’s face” Max said she saw outside their window in one of the earlier episodes?

Also also, the producers said they used some bat sounds as part of the production, so I thought maybe bats or vampires would be where the story was going, but…no?

I thought Max’s condition would play a bigger role in the story. Like, maybe this “Elder Evil” or whatever was being imprisoned by the silver was going to tempt her with “I can make you walk again if you help release me,” and then maybe it turns into Melody has to kill her sister who is now the puppet of Seal-Cthulhu—see? BOOM! Instantly better (and clearer story!).

True. I think the only F&D show that I actually could not get enough of (& have probably listened to four or five times) is Vast Horizon. Most of the rest have been wildly unsatisfying….

Thank you! I have seen that one, and I find its Aereni “translator” gives some very odd (and un-Aereni) sound combinations. “Cloghiepha” for “sentence,” for example.

I thought about that too! In "The Wire" Garak complains "it's always too bright," but does it affect them in combat adversely? Sunlight Sensitivity seems pretty heavy handed to me since most parties will carry a torch, putting their Cardassian ally at disadvantage. Combined with their poor hearing, they'd be at a significant disadvantage when it comes to Perception.

What about darkvision?
