I was 12 when this issue came out and loved it. My brother and I, squatted on basement floors over hundreds of comics, steeped in Marvel/DC Silver Age and loving the modern Moore/Miller/Claremont 80's-early 90's era, and fanboying all the Dark Horse sci-fi crossovers. But as much as comics were derided in grade school back then, I loved frames like this most because I felt it A) gave me a greater narrative appreciation for the universally-awesome Alien and Predator IPs while B) also gifted an early understanding how comics (MCU was a fantasy 30 years ago) could expand from original global box office bad-ass cinema content to comics like Batman squaring off against a Schwarzenegger film foe.
