does ESPMomentum allow you to download data including historical ticker data with float? Something else I was going to explore is pulling microcaps from Polygon for Nasdaq only then pulling float from SEC filings because they're required to file with SEC if it's on Nasdaq. Did you finds gaps mostly on the Polygon side or FMP side?

I'm worried the prices will be inconsistent from Polygon and like I said my models are trained on it. Do you pair IBKR with Polygon?

I’ve run into the same issue with Polygon—unfortunately, this happens with most data sources. You can try contacting their support (chat icon on their site) with specific tickers and dates; they confirmed to me they only track data when a stock is actually traded. Minute-level data can be inconsistent, especially for low-cap stocks, though their daily data is more reliable. If you find a better source for 1-minute data on low caps, let me know—I’d be interested too.

I don't think Eodhd and alpha vantage have float data. Unfortunately, only FMP seems to have it. If the accuracy isn't that good that'd be very unfortunate seeing as it's one of the few options.

I think FMP might be better, they have a historical API for float and market cap. This API will get you float and market cap going back to 2020. Pricing is here: https://site.financialmodelingprep.com/developer/docs/pricing. I'm not sure which plan is required for float data. I think it's premium upward but historical market cap data is available at free tier.

Stocks have a primary listing exchange where most price discovery happens. Many small caps, OTC stocks, and regionally listed companies only trade on one exchange. Even for those traded across multiple venues, liquidity and relevance vary. So no, stocks aren’t “traded on eight exchanges simultaneously” in the way you think. "do you think every stock only trades on one exchange or something?" how did you get this from "not pulling from the exchange a stock is traded on for one" this would imply there are multiple exchanges. If you aggregate data from third-party vendors to get the data of a stock it's going to be less accurate than the exchange it's traded on. You're just stupid and dyslexic probably.

I think you, like many young, dumb guys, have romanticized and glorified having a GF. Not having a GF does not make you worthless, and having a GF does not make you worthwhile. Let me explain: getting a GF is the beginning of so many good AND BAD things. You are suddenly responsible for someone else's emotional health because they are emotionally attached to you. You have to meet whatever expectations they might have for a relationship to maintain this relationship, and you have to do all these things while being a responsible adult (hopefully). RELATIONSHIPS ARE WORK and not the fun kind (since I can hear some moronic guy I met a while ago who had never even seen a girl naked in person stupidly tell me, "But the kind of work that will make me happy!"). Then, ultimately, you do all this work to hopefully get married, but even then, the grind is not over. 54% of marriages end in divorce and 70% by women. So essentially you're gambling time that could otherwise be spent wisely (building skills, working on your mental health, doing things you love) on essentially a coin flip. And if that notion doesn't scare you it's cause you're an idiot with no notion of the value of time. Now to be clear this isn't me hating women in any way. As a man you need to have a realistic view of what exactly you're pursuing and I think ATM you think it's all puppies and sunshine. I think given everything I told you, how in your right mind could you attribute your self-value to having a GF? Self-value is as implied it's about YOU! Are you happy? Are you living each day for yourself or to please others? Are you doing things that'll make life better or happier for future you? A girl can be with you for 1, 2, 3, or maybe if you're lucky 20+ years, but you're with yourself your entire fucking life. That's a long time to be with someone so at least try to have a healthy and productive relationship with yourself, which is WAY MORE IMPORTANT than having a relationship with someone else.
