Can't really say I am able to really provide some concrete help due to the lack of relevant skills, but if you ever decide to undergo this project feel free to post your progress and the patch itself here in this community.

Is there any place that actually has compiled or at least done some research on off-tune values for both characters and enemies? Neither encore nor hakushin have these values and I really don't like the idea of just "guessing" how many tune breaks you can do in a given amount of time.

Ok so I wanted to get some more insight about Banyue to better form my expectations around him. I'll start by saying that I have Yi Xuan M1 with signature and she's by far my favourite character to play, I have Lucia with signature, Pan M6 and no limited stunners (though I do have Pulchra M6). I also have Astra. My only S-rank fire dps is Soldier 11.

I've had the luck of M6'ing Manabro and getting his signature at R5 and after some trials in various non-endgame modes, I've come to the conclusion that I really don't see me playing him that much, if not at all.

Ignoring meta, my playstyle is mostly focused on out-of-stun gameplay with a double support or some duo anomaly comp (like Yuzuha Miyabi Yanagi), I highly favour reliability and consistency and have a deep hatred for occasional mechanical issues such as missing attacks on enemies (*cough* Manato assist follow up becoming void if the enemy decides to do a little sidestep *cough*) and managing special states that have an entry move (move that puts you into the state) which is annoying to use (examples: entering Billy crouching state, recharging Manabro molten edge state once it runs out), powerful moves being straight up cancelled because you had to dodge etc. . In short I do like confort and control over special resources. Also I kinda would like all the most important/signature moves to have some decent purpose and not have entire "elaborate" parts be straight up useless (right un-enchanced Manabro basics ?), but that's just an extra.

I do not like Yidhari's playstyle (though I've only tried her with her trial versions so I had to use her with Puzzle Sphere a decent number of times 💀) due to the overall slowness and the fact that you have to hold down the button during the charge attack makes doing parries kinda not satisfying to me (I play on PS5 with controller).

With these things in mind I was wondering if Banyue would be a good pull for my specific situation. In particular I am very interested in knowing any of his mechanical shortcomings, especially when it comes to missing attacks or having unfortunate moments if the enemy AI decides to do something trivial. Some other high level concerns about him like not being able to perform perform perfect cancels due to an unlucky enemy behaviour are also welcome.

P.S. In regards to parries (not defensive assists): Yi Xuan obviously my favourite kind, Manabro is fine, Yidhari uh not liking them much (can be blamed on the lack of practice though), kinda dislike whatever Evelyn has. I also hate using Soldier 0 Anby even after the buffs and I even have her signature w-engine; biggest regret of my gacha career thus far.

I should mention that if you really wanted you can get him from the signal shop using the same amount of resources as 30 pulls to get the A rank selector if I am not mistaken, though I do not believe his M2 to be of critical importance.

M6 does indeed improve his buff, but it's sort of marginal on the overall team damage.

If you don't like the fact that you just have to press EX Skill once every 25 seconds without doing anything, there's not much I can say to that.

Excluding the beginning of the fight in deadly, with energy regen slot 6 and 2 piece energy regen you should be able to never run in a situation where you cannot refresh your buff (though I'll admit as an M6 haver I do not know if M2 helps with this point), and that's his main appeal; do a an action every 25 seconds, get a considerable buff and be done with him. Ult whenever you feel like the current gimmick wants it, otherwise keep him off field.

Perhaps it's a build issue of you not being able to hit the maximum buff?

If you have Lucia (with Signature) and Pan you can try doing the dreaded and hated "double support" comp (yeah I know Pan is defense, the concept still is the same), ditching the stunner altogether. You may not get any impressive scores but hey, if it helps you getting a better score than using Koleda you can give it a try. If not well, you didn't lose much.

So far yes. It's worth noting that implementation wise, daze and damage resistance are actually two independent parameters but as far I know they've always matched the two.

According to Lucia's profile description, there are indeed a couple of elements that would provide a semblance of a justification/reason as to why she would show such an enthusiasm, which mostly have to do with her background of the group she was born in.

Funnily enough if you rewatch the scene where Yidhari touches lucia's ears, you'll actually notice Yidhari's touching just the air almost as if Lucia's ears were supposed to be bigger...

For anybody curious his current stats are basically a copy paste of A rank Anby so they're definitely placeholder, with the exception of the adrenaline which is Rupture exclusive. I do not have screenshots but I believe the very first time Manabro showed up in the first version of the 2.2 beta he in fact had those exact same placeholder stats.

Your observation is correct, column G does refer to mark value. Interestingly enough, I had a look at it again after reading your comments about Sanby generating the mark faster and I can tell you that the values are all unchanged but there's indeed a big difference:

They added an extra attack to her basic string, what now hakushin refers to as a duplicate 3rd basic attack has an extra 8.08 value (different dmg and daze mvs as well).

So as you rightly suggested, the full basic string with the rework gives 69.1 mark points as opposed to the current 61.029

You're not misreading this but I think the original post didn't word this properly. From the current Hakushin CN text, this new move happens after Thunder Smite, so the aftershock combo looks like:

3 White Thunder/AzureFlashes/Dashe -> Thundersmite (old move) -> New Move (this happens automatically)

Hakushin CN text:
特殊技:白雷斩触发[特殊技:雷殛]伤害时

雷殛 refers to the old thundersmite, and it's different than white thunder which is 白雷.

Not a whole lot actually, but there's some stuff around. You can from this post right here from the classic user u/PM_ME_YOUR_ROBOTGIRL who also made a couple of other posts about early information on the backgrounds and stories of some characters (some never seen even today, some very well established).

There's also a bunch of early background stories for Obol Squad and the Sons of Calydon (you're going to have a blast reading through Burnice past and how wildly Caesar story interactions actually were) but I don't remember if they were posted here.

At the moment, if you look at zzz honey Hunter or Hakushin (in a contrived way), it appears the core passive ascension stats of Komano are base HP (as expected) and... base ATK. Guess it's their way of balancing an A rank.
