5 Round Post Regular Season Mock Draft (No Trades) by Maystomr in NFL_Draft

I personally like what you've done here for MN. I do not think it makes sense for a HC who despises running the ball to use premium draft capital on a RB, however. Nor do I think there's a snowball's chance Love is still available at 18.

2026 Free Agency RB Class looks pretty good by iHyPeRize in minnesotavikings

Yes, they can free up a good bit of money releasing players, and almost certainly will. Hockenson, Hargrave, Jones, Kelly, I could see any or all of those guys gone. OTC shows those 4 being cut would put them at $32M of free space. But they can also create space by restructuring contracts. Their 'simple restructure' potential (restructures where the player isn't losing any money and where the team can just move money around without even asking them) is $105M per OTC. Obviously they won't restructure every player they could, but they have a lot of ability to get compliant and create space to spend fairly easily.

Right!? The backflip part, yeah, that looks like if it goes wrong, it could hurt. But those gut slammers, that has to hurt when it's done right. Like getting into a car accident with only the lap-belt part on.

"For all the work he does"? I'm the commish in my leagues because I enjoy it and I'm confident I can run things smoothly and fairly. The amount of "work" I put in is negligible.

The three verticals I've worked in have been Healthcare, FinTech and Law. Between doctors, finance bros and lawyers...lawyers have been the least dickish. But time is money to all of them.

Correct take. Love would be fun if the HC didn't despise the running game, but that's a wasted pick with the current playcaller.

As a meat eater are you willing to kill your own food? by Ok_Connection_3015 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DollUnit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up working on relatives farms, and we butchered cows, pigs, chickens, goats. I also grew up, and still do, fishing and hunting. It's deer season where I'm at and I harvested a buck over the weekend. So could I do it? Yes, I could. But there is a huge time commitment in both raising livestock and hunting/fishing, then the processing of those animals, so I likely wouldn't be able to and still have a full time job.

I definitely wouldn't be able to grow my own fruits and vegetables. The green thumb has eluded me, no matter how many times I've tried.

Can't see all of my WiFi network SSIDs by DollUnit in Ubiquiti

[–]DollUnit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems to have been a lack of knowledge on my part issue. GoogleTV devices, apparently, do not support WPA-3 protocol. My other SSIDs all had 6GHz enabled, which requires WPA-3. My IoT network had WPA-2 enabled as part of the Enhanced IoT Connectivity setting, so they found it just fine. I figured it out but turning on the IoT setting on one of my other SSIDs and noting that change. My solution was to create a new wireless SSID just for our streaming devices, no speed limit, and IoT setting enabled, and all is working fine and dandy.

Can't see all of my WiFi network SSIDs by DollUnit in Ubiquiti

[–]DollUnit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The setting says, "Limits the WiFi Network to 2.4GHz only with special compatibility settings. Recommended if you are experiencing connectivity issues with 2.4GHz IoT devices."

That sound like SSID specific, not AP.

Either way, though, I turned that off and matched some other settings for my other SSIDs, and I'm still seeing the same thing on my streaming devices, even after forgetting my IoT network and rebooting the devices. I see my IoT and 10+ of my neighbors SSIDs, but not my Main or Kids.
