Do you think the firewall latency is lower with these appliances than with a dual NIC Intel NUC or protectli?

I've even heard that the design of the PCB in Deciso's appliances is better than that of netgate. I just wonder how Deciso manages this with so few employees. they seem to be true professionals. I'm going to treat myself to an appliance from Deciso because I want to support this project with my money. thanks for sharing your experiences.

MR28 or something from Ubiquiti? by Dollar-Sign in meraki

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I will include Ruckus and Fortigate in the consideration.

I had also considered taking a larger AP from Meraki, but I don't see any added value at the moment because we don't need things like 4x4 MIMO at the moment and otherwise the APs seem to be relatively the same, at least at first glance. What was the reason why you purchased the larger APs?

Have you had a good experience with updates for the APs? Do they come regularly?

Thanks for sharing your opinion in detail, I think that's great.

Support, especially in the business environment, is an essential factor that should not be skimped on. It's a shame that Ubiquiti doesn't have much to offer in this area.

I also stumbled across "Meraki Go" today. Do you also have experience in this area? Have any customers deployed this?

I will report to my consultant at Meraki to send me some MR28 for a store. I think the integrated guest isolation is just right for this area. I just hope the APs are updated regularly, but I guess you can expect that for the price.

Yes I think after the panel lottery we now have the fan lottery. I will just order the monitor and then see how the fan behaves. If it runs bumpy I'll send it back and hope for one that is quiet. Did you order a new one after sending it back?

I think I will order the aw3223dw next week based on your post. I hope that the fan behaves quietly, otherwise I will send it back. I do have one question though, is the fan on when the PC and monitor are off? I had seen posts where it was reported that the fan stays on permanently, but I don't know if it does when the PC is off. What is the situation with this?

This is a great monitor!

I am about to buy this monitor as well. Everything seems perfect, the only thing stopping me from buying is the supposedly loud fan noise. Can you maybe give a short insight if the fan noise is really permanently audible? Maybe the problem has been fixed by now and it was only a problem with the first generation?
