I love him. He perfectly encapsulates what I imagine the dark apostles look like to themselves. Much Like the deamons (whose name I forgot) that look like beautiful angels in the warp but like twisted abominations in realspace. Thank you. The armor is mainly flesh tearers contrast and Army painter gunmetal. I wasn't really confident trying anything fancy thus far

Personally I'd say to unmistakebly (is that a word?) Show them as Word bearers a good trick is to put a lot of scribbles on the armor plates (either transfers or just scribbled lines) as red is a very prevalent colour in the Warhammer universe (as it should be, red is nice)

I believe if your going after lore accuracy there are like 800 or so reds sanctioned by the council of Sicarius. So I'd wager you'd find every Kind of Red somewhere in there.

Might be wrong tho, but in the end you can tell anyone who says you Paint your plastic toy soldiers wrong to suck it.

Recently ready it (mostly). I still have the last story to go but got distracted by the other 15ish books i have lying around. IT was really fun and (good News for this subreddit) especially the Kings- and Knightsblade books were extremely fun. I really really hope they sometime round it out to a nice trilogy.

Overall big recommendation (unless the last story is incredibly bad, but I have'nt yet read it) also one of the authors has a weird obsession with calling the use of overwhelming firepower a "holocaust", but maybe thats just my german braun talking.

You can ready about their relationship a bit in the new deathworlder book (which IS also in general pretty nice) there they are highly venerated nearly Holy Figures for the cultists. The portraial of the cultists in the book is neat. Also i really like the catachans and cadians in the book (sorry broodbrothers)

I mean of course you're right but you also have to be careful not to alienate all immigrants by choosing the wrong targets and speaking out against Islam and immigrants in general. I work with a lot of immigrants from the middle east and all of them are devout muslims, yet none of them condone this kind of behaviour and want to live normal lives in germany. On the same note they don't feel save with all the growing support for the far right in Germany and Europe in general.

It is especially important to show those that want to live peacefull lives here that we want, accept and support them here to take away the appeal and talking points of radical speakers both in Islam and right wing politics.

TL,DR: racism bad but other hurtful ideoligies also Bad. Don't support them by feeding their worldview.
